  1. sorry to hear it. check wiring (follow and check the whole loom as they alway cheap out there by running it tight) and connections, wiring is a very weak point on those/chinese bikes..
  2. is that mud or have you filled the lever in with cement or filler?? lol if the mount/lever action for the clutch is fine then maybe? id change it when possible if's notches. the indicator is held on inside the unit by a nut that is over the top of the wiring and indicate thread, ull have to open up the tail light unit to get to it. uve bent the lever (£17 wemoto), the rod and worse the mount itself... the rods and lever will bend back if your careful, the mount itself will be more prone to snapping you try to bend it back from that far back as its a cast item unlike the rod and lever as they are solid metal. check out independent dealers and wemoto for parts.
  3. some bikes don't like to be started in gear even with the clutch in so if the bike is not in neutral it wont start. so if it thinks its not in neutral, due to the gear position (gbox or sensor) or timing it wont start. sometimes if you roll the bike a few inches (out of gear but most of the time its more reliable to do it if in gear 1st or second) moves the trigger sensor so it will start.
  4. that is partly true it neutralises the rust from spreading but not actually to remove it. if you look up hairseys very good thread on CBR600 F3 1998 - amateur restoration. that will tell you what you need to do.
  5. if the controller is faulty (check the pins in the connectors) or the wires, it will not light up or just quickly flash out. if you dont use the controller its set at the lower level of heat for safety and battery consumption, if its linked to a vest while on portable battery pack (smaller of the ones) it will stick to the lower levels, if its the bigger ones you can get it to go middle or high but the best way is to have it connected to the motorbikes battery, then you can everything on full power
  6. this one westy? we have this type on all of our stuff so mid generation, wish it was smaller..
  7. think i need to cut a load out...like nearly everything- lol.
  8. if i were you id go on to the next generation of bikes that were well loved but haven't appreciated much yet...
  9. nope! cant remember the exact year but it's illegal to do it (to a vehicle of a certain age) why you cant de cat nor dfp remove the filter... the noise alone will make any self respecting mot man fail it for that alone or claim to be deaf...
  10. Well shall i say it? your right there far too moderate, im still here!
  11. Talk about randomness, one way to be banned? hacked? or has Vic got this modernist idea of identity wrong?
  12. its a way to reduce the risk of people just fuel and do a runner. what happens is that it pre charges your account (charges in holding) making sure you can pay for it to the maximum amount before dispensing fuel but will allow you to take fuel, then after you have filled up it then applies the amount you take...
  13. its the technique to learn...not brute force.
  14. heard its quite good off an ex work mate, never tried it my self... shameful that the packaging looks so cheesy and only 4year olds would be attracted to it.
  15. wish i could ise it on the cats around here...
  16. same as westy... my bike (1yr old to me) and the 125cbf (good few more years) have centre stands , they have a purpose but still dont get it right every time so i hardly use it. if its a bad day i use this to help clean the wheel and chain... harder than off the ground (centre stand) but better than any other way.
