I'll try going on a longish journey see how I feel :)

Still a bit wobbly, I thought of using my phone but it finds the quickest way using mototways and I can't use them :)

I might try driving up to a group that's going :)

To take you there? Its not a prom.

Just set your satnav for the 1950's and point your bike towards derbyshire. Simples.

Is that a clue ("1950's") to your fancy dress outfit Martin, or is it the average birth year of the attendees?

Ricky - Ride to my place early Friday (you'll pass the venue en-route) and I'll escort you to it.

Alternatively, just print of the RAC Route (or any other if you wish) and stick it to your tank - Simples!

Good luck EAB :)

It'll take me 3 hours to get there without motorways, not as bad as I'd though though :D

just looked at the route on google maps and that is a good route to the place and pretty straight forward too

and the sales of ear plugs has just slumped to an all time low as well

Dont worry Steve I will be trying my best to carry the banner on your behalf.....and that could be from both ends depending on what I eat.... :booty:

I've got my google maps on my iPhone and I'll just have headphones in and pay attention for the drive there, I'll be alright on the way back I have a good sense of direction

They are all booked up for the rooms anyway

You may as well get a tent and come for the full weekend as its the same price for the day ;-)

Haha, that'd be good but I can't stand camping, the stress of putting them up and neatly back into the bag sends me mental and even when in in the tent I don't sleep :P

I feel exactly the same. Your solution is to marry a man who does like putting tents up (like I did haha!), or just get over it, and enjoy camping with a big group, getting rather twatted and having a real laugh  ! We (and by we I mean my husband and likely some others who are camping!) will help you put your tent up and take it down for sure

And dear god, don't forget the underlay like I did when camping at BMF this weekend just gone - SO....VERYYY....COOOOLD!
