From a population of just 4.2million people they were able to find a bunch of blokes better at football than England could find from over 65million...

That's a defeat on an epic scale.

IF we're going by that logic then China must be having epic defeats on a regular basis :mrgreen:

I can't stand football, but if you were doing Gary Linekar's job instead of him I'd tune in to every match just for this sort of analysis! :lol:

30 yr back that would have burnt you on a cross over an open fire in the club house whilst the pack did a Morris dancing rendition for admitting that :thumb:

What is the difference between league and union, other than they are different words.

Historically. Financial. League split away so players could be paid. 1895 if my memory is correct.

A different game developed over time.

And it is very different. Apart from the number of players etc.

I used to play league. And very occasionally vets union as I got older.

Union is in my mind slower with a lot more pedantic rules and to be honest scares the shit out of me.

They way they maul n strike for the ball in ruck is sheer daftness :shock:

Lad started off playing union when he was 7.

Any way. The clubhouse thing with union is very important and the limited union clubs round here place much emphasis on them.

Get to the point Neil.

Team photos.

There is one prominent for the area club which ended up playing national league standard for a season or 2.

Go into there club. Photos on wall. Team line ups with black felt tip scrubbing out players!!!!!

There's are ones who defected and went to league :lol:

The other club round here supplied a British dual code international who is a legend in both codes (you tube living with lions)

Anyway for a decade whilst he was playing for Leeds. Halifax etc. He couldn't get entry to his old club house!!!!!

Union = Proper rugby.

League = Touch rugby.

Unions the one where they stick their fingers up each other’s arses.

League is where they lie on top of each other and wriggle.
