I need to change my ingnition ASAP can i buy any ignition or does it have to be the exact one as my bike is pretty shitty bike i cant find the original ignition for it. Keeway RKV 125 i need the answer today asap please help thanks!!

There are two answers really...

It doesn't have to be the original - but if you use anything else you will need to do some wiring and possibly make an adapter plate and it's unlikely the steering lock will operate. So that's not a quick solution.

So sourcing an original part will be easier if not immediate.

This will do , must have one laying about in your shed.

Unused as Six did not need it - The keys were already in the ignition...... :tumble:

If they where kind enough to leave the keys in the ignition I probably would not be to concerned... Changing the ignition lock might not be as easy as you think if its designed to fool thieves... If like most things in life they have complicated anti theft designs, just made of cheap plastic so a large screwdriver breaks them. Its just when wants to change it without doing damage.....

if you have the keys why worry .

if you have the keys and want to change you can just change the barrel with no dramas

if you dont have the keys you may need to also get

petrol cap key

seat release key
