Ah crap...I've got a couple of old fashioned cylinders I was thinking about making into a log burner.

So the plan to rinse them before attacking with an angle grinder is obviously not a good one.

Once a cylinder has had gas in its technically never empty.

If you were to attempt such a thing with the bottle as empty as you can get in theory you would unscrew the valve, purge with nitrogen or fill with water, gas isn't magic it doesn't come back home once you empty the water out, but you do get a residue bit like oil, if that's left long enough it will magically gas off and make it a danger again if you return with a grinder 😁

Plenty of folk cut them up no problem but they are never legally yours you only rent them.

Plenty of folk get it wrong and suffer the consequences......

These are discontinued cylinders that the company doesn't want to deal with. They just withdrew support and left a lot of people,  particularly boaters, in a mess.

Morning people. Apparently going to a football match isn’t a celebration because I have to accompany her to see 10cc tonight and she doesn’t want me to do that drunk. I don’t think she understands that I don’t share her passion for “People in Love”…or how I will absolutely need to be off my face to suffer it live. She didn’t come to watch bands at Revellion punk fest, I don’t see why I should have to do this. Do we have lawyers on the forum? Can one confirm that being forced to watch 10cc sober is basically domestic abuse?

Afternoon guys.

Want to get rid of spiders hiding in the mirrors and other bits?

Add a cinnamon stick to the water when you're washing

Of course I know what it is 😤😤

I have been using it for long and have a lot less webs on mirrors and those places spiders love to hide.

@Simon Davey the blue thing is the bucket, green the car detergent, it's actually yellow but you know what yellow and blue turns into.

The thing looking like a turd, it's actually a small cinnamon stick to stop spiders getting close to the car

For the widows it's easier.

Just put a stick by the window and you're sorted.

I think it was said that conkers work the same.

Cheers

It's in the future at some point, I have no concept or interest in distant future unless I'm buying something or waiting for something I've bought.

I've heard of conkers being a spider repellent but not cinnamon sticks! We'll give it a go

I've heard of it but never tried.

It's known that crawlers don't like citrus and cinnamon smells

Never seen The Offspring, really want to - but I'm mainly jealous because you saw Kylie.

Tonight we went ot see 10cc. Not sure what my expectations were - but they were seriously surpassed. Absolute professionals.
