Like to see how it supposedly happened. Having seen some of the local tractors hurtling along at silly speeds scattering crap everywhere could be interesting. My tractor is tiny, and rarely goes on the road. I have driven "proper" tractors though, plenty of times, and I can assure you that a rubber dinghy in a rough sea has better handling. Couple this with 15 tonne of trailer, especially liquid, and a driver that has their foot flat on the floor and this kind of disaster is inevitable. Now obviously the above is an exaggeration, but not that far off. 5 Quote

Nice one SD, I do like the V-Storm, I chucked a leg over one at the dealers last year, being a short arse, only one foot got to terra firma. Are you planning long trips in 2025 after the initial service is sorted? Quote

Are you planning long trips in 2025 after the initial service is sorted? Cheers matey, my occupation, and my family are quite restrictive when it comes to travelling (we work 7 days per week). However as per last year, I have the great excitement of a week long trip to Germany with seven others in September to look forward to. I get out for a couple of hours per week, that also makes each little excursion, a little bit special. I've only done 36miles, but instantly felt at home. The handling is sublime, plenty of elec-trickery, and torque to pull your arms off. All the reviews are saying it's so very underrated. Edited April 2 by Simon Davey 6 Quote

The laws about who can drive a tractor are weird, people under 17 can drive them on the roads without a driving licence so it makes you wonder how safe they are. The laws date back to the days of your old Massey Ferguson with a tin seat and max speed of 10mph. Modern tractors can be hugely powerful and capable of travelling 40-50mph towing a load a several tons. The crash was just round the corner from the school where my wife works. Most of the children were late as even pedestrians couldn't pass the site of the accident due to the houses being unsafe. Going off Google maps the road is still closed this morning. 1 1 1 Quote
