Steve_M Posted Monday at 17:03 Posted Monday at 17:03 (edited) Good evening from the Lake District (still). Today we had a short, but strenuous little hike up Barf, across to Lord’s Seat and back down to Thornthwaite. Edited Monday at 17:09 by Steve_M 5 Quote
S-Westerly Posted Monday at 20:44 Author Posted Monday at 20:44 Bad business at Oulton Park today. Multiple bikes in a pile up and at least two riders dead and one critically injured. Sobering. 2 Quote
Simon Davey Posted Monday at 20:56 Posted Monday at 20:56 Young too, Jenner was only 21. The other guy was a father of 2. Another rider had serious back and abdomen/pelvic injuries. So very sad. 11 bikes involved in the crash. 4 Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted Tuesday at 15:59 Posted Tuesday at 15:59 I just post this here as its on local biker FB groups.. Following the horrific crash at Oulton Park yesterday St Peter's church in Little Budworth will fly the Union Flag at half mast as a sign of respect until Thursday (when it will rise to honour the fallen on VE Day). The church is open 7.00pm this evening for anyone wanting a quiet space to reflect on the sadness following the incident at the BSB event. 6 Quote
Mickly Posted Wednesday at 14:30 Posted Wednesday at 14:30 Afternoon all, quick question, when trailering a bike is it better to increase the tyre pressures to help it strap down solidly or is it the opposite? ( The KTM usually has about 10 -15 psi for lane use ) Quote

( The KTM usually has about 10 -15 psi for lane use ) Id raise it to 30 or so, your racheting it down so it will really stress the tyres and tubes. big solid tyres will stay put as there will be less give for it to wobble or fidget loose which will make sure the Rachet will bite and have high tension on the strap and bike. Exactly my thoughts, but I’ve not done this before. Quote
