So far this week I've had a text from 3, ee, Vodafone and sky, all of them can't verify my account and it's going to be suspended.

I wouldn't have believed any of them had I had an account with one of them, but I don't, I can see the benefits of carpet bombing someone but does that not give the game away

Yeah.  I get those from O2 all the time.

Yesterday got a call from a ghost number.

It appears to be from a company but somehow they disguise the real number with one from a real company.

The number was from someone down in England but was the scam talking bollock about me being investigated by HMRC for fraud

Googled an O2 coverage map prior to going on holiday . The map was a picture rather than being interactive which , in hindsight , was a clue . Five minutes later I've apparently not paid my bill despite being a Tescomobile customer . Anyone had spam calls from the picturesque village of Lairg in Scotland ?

Earlier this week I had a call in a computer generated voice telling me that HMRC were going to issue a warrant for my arrest unless I pressed 1, or was it 2, cannot remember. So I've got a bag packed with my toothbrush and other essentials in. 😄

I get all sorts of bloody spam!

The best one is when they ring to say I have had a recent accident! I play along and say yes I had a very serious one!

When it gets to the point of asking what happened I tell them I died in a crash!

They soon put the phone down :D

I like the one where they ask about industrial injury causing hearing loss. I play hard of hearing and they get very excited. When they ask where it happened I tell them I worked on the Apollo rocket engines. Big bucks there to chase.

My role was I was the guy who lit the blue touch paper. Then they disappear.

This afternoon I got the famous o2 text claiming my bill hadn't been paid. Don't understand these idiots as I can tell at a glance the bill has been paid.

Yesterday I had four emails from Windows telling me my account is being suspended unless I confirm my details. Two messages from people needing my help to transfer very large sums of money which they will share with me. An email telling me I'd won 820,000 dollars in a lottery. And something entirely in Greek.

It's great having an email address that has to be in the public domain. You hear from so many lovely people.

Every time I advertise for new homeopaths I get a lot of emails from employment agencies offering to advertise for homeopaths on my work email. Then they start ringing and leaving messages asking for me to call with my admin but saying why. Takes up my time because I need to check if it is a real message.
