@gymwitch regarding the comment of mine you spotted on another thread

I went from my 100bhp (ish, probably lost a few because old) sports tourer Zzr600 to the NC, 

this was only 6 weeks into owning it and I adored it so my thoughts about the NC were always going to be affected by all of that. I was grumpy about being on an insurance bike because someone had driven into my beautiful ZZR600. 
I am not a fan of naked and little screens, 65+ miles an hour feels windy to me. 
I think if I had had the NC as my first big bike I would have loved it. A lot. 
if I had to choose between another zzr and a NC now I would probably go zzr but might not. I’m not allowed to go fast any more   Too many points.

I hope you love it and if not you can always swap like lots do.

You will probably find that when you first ride it at motorway speeds you will be more aware of the wind buffeting. But once you're used to the bike you'll not notice it as much. I ride naked bikes with small fly screens and usually cruise at 70mph on motorways.

 

Occasionally you'll be in adverse weather, especially days when it is very windy and the road you are on is exposed. Just slow down a bit and the buffeting drops very quickly. The thing to remember is that air resistance isn't proportional to speed. If you double your speed you quadruple the wind effect. So just backing off 10mph makes a much larger difference.

 

Be aware that large vehicles create a significant wake of turbulence so when overtaking a truck be prepared for the air barrier coming off the front end. It's often better to create the widest gap possible when passing large vehicles.

 

For longer motorway trips I often prefer to slow down a bit, follow a HGV that's holding a steady 60mph at a comfortable distance and just go with the flow. Journeys like that don't take much longer but you get there much more relaxed. I find barrelling along in and out of the lanes gets tiring pretty quickly.

I had the 700x dct. good bikes.

I was considering buying the s model till I saw my current bike going for £6200 on the road.

so I bought that instead a tracer 700 old model.

not a fan of the new model.

yes i saw a bike like yours for sale on fleabay with one, rush out and buy one it makes servicing a whole lot easier(removing rear wheel etc)

I'm the opposite. If I'm in a hurry to get somewhere and using the motorway I find I get very bored and start to not pay attention which isn't good. So I go as fast as the main traffic flow and move in and out of lanes as required. Keeps me slightly entertained. Some m-ways have old roads that parallel them and if possible I use them as they are far more interesting.  Although I did clock a camera van up near Boroughbridge last time I was up that way.

Yes it does a bit weird but also very handy !!! One back indicator fell off when i got back i noticed it dangling. It had been previously glued. Had all this with 125. So gorilla glued and taped this morning. Our biggest issue is getting them in and out of the shed and back garden. Our back is up 2 high steps so we concreted a ramp in. Andys Tracer bottoms out on it. So we just need to learn new ways around things. Im chuffed but out of my comfort zone a bit which i suppose is to be expected. When i rode away from the shop though it was so easy and felt like id ridden it before.
