manxie49 Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 (edited) I was sent this link, has anyone seen these? It looks like a pinlock for for the outside of the visor, used to repel rain. Look like it works pretty well in the video, but these things always do. I personally use RainX which is pretty good. https://www.popsugarco.com/products/50offphotochromic-anti-fog-helmet-film?st=&fbclid=IwAR1A4wePpK8ieVmxBdpFiRXseCwoNVAPwM08grXkzKB0NpuZcNZuEJJoBx0&variant=002b8291-2843-4911-b351-db1c3ff616f4 Edited December 20, 2021 by manxie49 Quote
husoi Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 It looks like the strips F1 drivers use. Quote

husoi Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Would it be worth it tough? They don't say how long it lasts, F1 driver discards 1 every 10min or so... Makes me think how many I would need for a bad storm like day. Then, because I rarely ride on the rain. Don't think it will be something I'll be looking into. Quote
S-Westerly Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 Ditto, don't really see the point. My pinlock does what it's supposed to and externally my visor has reasonable moisture shedding properties. Quote

billy sugger Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 I use VK visor clean and rain bead. Water just beads and rolls off the visor 1 Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 I read somewhere that Head and Shoulders shampoo keeps water beading on visors. I think FortNine did a video on it as well. Quote
