Screwdriver

Does anyone know what kind of screwdriver this is? Bought a selection of old screwdrivers off eBay and this one caught my eye. 

 

Quiet a nice design, all one piece.

 

Guessing the metal top is to allow it to be used with a hammer.

Use it as a chisel and my dad would put you on detention. He taught woodwork all his career and then retired to make bespoke furniture. 

 

I'm pretty sure he's still got that screwdriver.

I just spoke with my dad. He can't remember where he got his from but it's basically just a screwdriver you can tap stuck screws with. 

 

He got a lot of tools from an old guy who used to live behind us when I was a sprog.

I know exactly what it is. It’s a thing and gender neutral at that. Sorry for that bit of woke snowflakery, I’ve just woken up and realised what day it is. Which is a novel experience that has left me slightly traumatised.

No, a chisel is used differently to a screwdriver, ull excluded obvs
