What do think? Replace now, or wait till the service in November, at most 2000 more miles?

Think the Newquay trip may have seen it off

The tyre is pretty much on the wear marker. I would get it changed asap.

The pads should last until service time.

The pads should last another 2k.

6k if you don't brake slot 😁

Depends on riding style as to how long you will get.

Loads on the pads!

The tyre should have been replaced 500 miles ago

I wouldn't 2k out of them. I usually wear mine out in 5k. But I tend to be heavy on the front brake.

But the next service is in 2k so they would want replacing then or they won't make the next service.

Pads look fine, tyre is almost down to wear marker.

Is the wear marker in the middle of the photo and tyre, where the long tread is split by a cross piece?

Probably, I did 950 miles over 3 days and before I started could just about detect the wear bands with my finger nail.

It will be changed before being used again.

The wear marker is 1mm deep.

The tyre is fine in the dry, but should it rain when out on that, then the tread won’t be deep enough to displace the water efficiently and it could be squeaky bum time, so very smooth throttle needed.

Unfortunately the wear marker is worn 😬

Your pads are fine, plenty left on them,

More than I can say about my front tyre!!

Got back from a 1000 mile 3 day blast,  and we had a brief rain shower!!!
