Good rear plate to have, I hear the North Wales police are a bit ‘keen’
Never had any issues to be honest and not really seen any police either

Made a good start this morning and set off at 8 on the route I planned yesterday and I must say the route was fantastic! We prefer little winding roads and just taking it all in on the way!
Arrived at around 4 with 3 or 4 stops on the way
This is our digs for 3 nights
The Waterloo Hotel in betws y Coed
They have lodges that you can park right outside with use of all their facilities too swimming pool sauna gym etc

Love Wales, spend about 3 weeks a year up there.
Got some good roads near Betws y Coed, the A548/544/543, but enjoy it, looks like you'll have the weather to scrub them tyres in well
Tyres are well scrubbed already

The main door is my only access into the garage, in the unlikely event of power failure or something went wrong with the motor, is there any way to get around that if you are locked out?
You could fit it so all the motor is on the outside with a manual override behind a cover etc
There is ways around all that but would cost a bit more and it would still be secure too

Happy birthday @RigsVille

Fit everything and set the adjusters to where they need to be for a new chain
Fit the chain and hook the ends over the rear sprocket
Now pull the chain to take up the slack rest it on the sprocket and you should be able to see how many links too long the chain is
Are you counting the side plates? if so then the 100th one will be the link so you would cut to 99 but please check it on the bike before cutting
PS hand a weight on the rear brake and put it in gear it will stop the chain falling on the floor

So are iPhones.. its extremely simple to reorientate an image on the phone in 3 clicks. takes about 2 seconds.
The software is supposed to put them the correct way without you having to mess about but iPhone seems to do things a bit different at times

Good suggestion. the restrictor set up for those models is a very cheap option by comparison with some bikes, not only the part itself (a modified bracket) but the cost of fitment... minutes.
My mate has one and its a very capable bike for all sorts of applications
He's isn't restricted though

What about a F800GS? if you look around you can get those for around 4k

I have always being told to forget the amount you put in but to concentrate on the air gap
This was by a couple of specialists as I was having the same issue on an old bike
Just ensure you have pumped the damping rod to bleed the air out and also move the stantion up and down too

Its an up and over door and fairly lightweight, just researching electric roller doors
Best thing I ever did was get an electric roller door
Just make sure you get a steel on and not aluminium
Try companies that specialise in shop shutters! They are miles cheaper more secure and can get them powder coated in a lot of colours
This is mine
800 quid fitted! I couldn't argue with that

Me.
Was working on my car on the drive so took the keys out and put them in the garage.
Finished what I was doing and wanted to go out in the car so shut and locked the garage door.
Got in the house and suddenly realised I'd locked both sets of keys with a garage key inside the garage, tw@t.
Luckily I hadn't locked the top shed which houses my disc cutter, however all my extension leads are... yep in the garage.
Fortunately Mrs B has a selection of short extension leads under the stairs so linked 4 of these across the garden.
About 10 seconds with the disc cutter and job done.
On the hunt now for a better padlock.
Stuff like this wakes you up to how easy it is to break in!

The other crazy thing to watch for is them relaxing and falling asleep. I have heard tales of this.
The wife does this all the time

The A5 is sublime for that lovely flowing road with not a lot of braking much to the wife's annoyance![🤣](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@14.0.2/assets/72x72/1f923.png)
