  1. May treat myself to one of these at some point. RST x Kevlar Frontline CE Textile Jacket - Grey / Neon - FREE UK DELIVERY (sportsbikeshop.co.uk)
  2. RST Chelsea 3/4 CE Textile Jacket - Black - FREE UK DELIVERY (sportsbikeshop.co.uk)
  3. It's been almost a year, but i'm back in the game, baby!
  4. Was very tempted, but the final cost came in at around £25k which is 7k more than the S1000R. Anyway, hope you are well mate.
  5. Whacked a deposit down on one. Been waiting for my insurance claim to play out since I was knocked off back in August. Got the pay out for the S1000R but liability still in dispute. Anyway, nearly lumped money down for a Street Fighter V4S just before Xmas but decided to go with the 2021 S1000R Sport. Delivers in May - just in time for the start of bike season. Can’t bloody wait. This has been my longest hiatus from riding since passing my CBT!
  6. Well, they wrote it off. Mixed feeing really. I loved that bike and spent a great deal of time keeping it in tip top shape. On the otherwise, I would never truly be happy on a bike that’s had such a whack on the frame/forks. Nothing I really like at the moment apart from the Streetfighter V4S and I’m in no position to be dropping 25k on a motorbike. Think I may hold fire to see if the 2021 S1000R gets released https://riders.drivemag.com/news/rumour-2021-bmw-s1000r-redesigned/#&gid=1&pid=2 On a more positive note, I’ve been riding around on a Honda CB1000R. Surprised at how much I’m enjoying it. It’s a soulless little thing, makes less noise than a gentle breeze but it’s just nice to ride. Adjusting to life without a quick shifter has taken some doing, though!!
  7. Thanks Tiggie. Not sure really. Front forks/wheels are all bent out of shape. Was fairly low speed (luckily, ive gone faster down the same road). Driver pulled out of a left hand side road as i was filtering traffic to my left. I saw her bumper edge out and was ready to stop but then she turned towards me to join the road (going opposite direction) and essentially cut me off and swiping the bike out from under me. Right leg is hurting progressively more. May have to go A&E. Can't walk now.
  8. Got knocked off. RIP calf ligaments and S1000R.
  9. Torque. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0329691/?ref_=m_tt_sims_tt This film looked so shit at that time that it’s always stuck with me. Better time than ever to actually find out. I’ll see if I can liberate a copy from somewhere if it’s not on the usual streaming services.
  10. Amazing. For being a sovereign Parliament?
  11. I think you should back up at least some of what you’re saying here. You’ve made quite a few bold statements that I think you’ve just made up. Happy to be proved wrong. In 3 years since the vote i still don’t think I’ve seen a single tangible benefit of leaving. Apart from Parliamentary sovereignty, of course. Which is now considered traitorous.

    Time out

Lib Dem’s for me. But really, Corbyn is a miles better option than the perennial bullshitter Johnson. The man is quite simply a **** and will do more harm to this country than all of the Moggs and Abbots combined. I’d even take the Maybot back and she’s the 3rd worst politician in British political history, just behind the pig-molesterer. This should be in the Joke section If only it was, a sad truth.

Hmm... Brexit or Corbyn. That's a bit like "If you were up to your neck in shit and someone threw a bucket of piss at you, would you duck?" Anything but Corbyn and his side kick Abbot . 14. To be fair I don’t think I’ve ever heard a cyclist complaining about no one liking them. Blokes a w**ker none the less.
  15. Remember the guy camped outside of parliament? That’s about as peaceful as you get. They quietly evicted him from the square and swept away all his banners and placards. Think he died of cancer not long after, Politicians LOVE peaceful protest.
  16. 208bhp naked Beautiful bike though.
  17. The problem with peaceful protesters? No one gives a f**k.
  18. im a 32" Waist toruser and a Small Reg Trousers fits just perfect. I'm a small T shirt/jumper/coat etc and a small jacket is slightly big, enough that you can get anothert layer on underneath. If you have a gusset or a cracking pair of tits, go up a size.
  19. Reminds me of the Holy Church of The Order of The Red Breast. This is an awesome read: https://419eater.com/html/joe_eboh.htm

  21. I wish that was my work. A stunning cock indeed. When you say you wish it was your work, do you mean you wish you drew it or you wish it was your stunning cock? Both really. Everyone loves a cock drawing, surely? Nothing wrong with appreciating the glory of well sketched cock, especially if it’s there own (it’s not ) If it was my actual stunning cock, i’d Like to think I posed Titanic style on some sort of velvet chair. Glorious...
  22. I was using my iPhone and a ram mount for years. Only about a month ago I read on the BMW forum that it was common for people iPhone cameras to go batshit crazy after prolonged use attached to motorbike handle bars. I’ve have commuted thousands of miles with my phone in the ram mount without issue, however about 3 days later, as if by coincidence, it started happening. Now my iPhone camera just can’t focus, it rattles like crazy. So I invested in a TomTom. Also, without a charger, the phone dies pretty quick as a GPS. Hi joe which bmw forum are you on S1000R forum mate.

  24. Why not install heat grips on your bike then? Or would that work out the same in terms of cost? Already have them, work fine for your palms, do absolutely nothing for the fingers. Even with 3 layers of gloves on. Made a commitment about 3 years ago that I would buy heated gloves and always put it off, well not this year! Maybe.
