I am going to nominate the male (to old to be a youth and certainly no Gentleman) who pulled out of a drive/ side road in-front of me. Recieve ing a blast on my horn and a stern look in his wing mirror for the pleasure. Wing mirror to stop his temptation to brake test me. He then stopped them to speak to me about my riding and how I was in the wrong, ”Its not my fault I did not see you” I tried to explain politely how he was wrong, his response was you “F¥(king prick next time I will run you down”. The temptation to remove his wing mirror was strong, however I had better things to be doing than waiting for the police to arrive after the enviable brawl that would of ensued.

Not impressed by OP blatant sales pitch. However regarding speakers, best way to place speakers is to sit in front of telly with the volume turned up, then okay music on your helmet headset. Place speakers in reses in helmet or where you think your ears are. Put your helmet on, then move one speaker and try again. If it gets louder move other speaker further in same direction. Eventually you will find the right position. You would be surprised how far out your guess of ear positions can be. The reses made by manufacturers can be as badly placed as well. However even a cheap headset with will placed speakers will produce reasonable sound. 1/4" makes a massive difference.

Many moons ago working in Grease my passport was going to expire. So I applied for a new one, then circumstances changed and I had to come home. Getting on the flight was a palava the UK end my parents where there to greet me. They had ID for me. However I walked up to the immigration and said, I believe you might be expecting me? They hardly examined my ID and let me through. My parents where pleased they didn't have to ID me, long bleached sun blond hair a tan they would not of thought it was me A couple of days later my passport arrived in the UK. Type set (made with type writer) issued in UK embassy Athens. Raised eyebrows at immigration on honeymoon in Turkey and afew other immigration desks.

Not certain how Cornish shops price. Yesterday it was 1 Litre of milk and a Loaf of frozen bread - £5.05 I should not be surprised, the other week it was SPAR milk 1ltr - £3.00. Today it was supermarket delivery, the dog was delighted when he brought the food to the boat and made a fuss of her. They seem embarrassed when I comment I know the story your more pleased to see the dog than the customer . My colleagues are waiting for a complaint that I am more interested in the pets than the job

That sounds like fun, boats don't need to be big to enjoy sailing. Just like bikes it's getting out and doing. The broads are somewhere I mean to navigate. Then there are many stretches of water I can say that about. Just like roads on the bike.

On the bright side I have never cruised the Cornish Coast and very pleasant it is too with 3 weeks of northerlies. Very few coves between the Lizard and Brixham I have not stuck my bow in. I can tell you where to find the bikini clad girls and a beach bar (with bands at the weekend), that's not on the cruising guides. I entered the Falmouth Classics, in 3 weeks I have burned less than 10ltrs of fuel. Only paid for berthing around the Falmouth Classics. Sadly weather not been good enough for Scillies single handed (I don't like motoring) and Channel Islands with dog is do able but difficult. Which are all excuses I have been enjoying this coastline.

I am going for my rant of the day a £12.00 cheese sandwich.it was a nice sandwich but really £12.00. The pint was only £5.05 the cheapest yet in a pub. Atleast the Anchourage is free, 3 weeks of northerlies stopped my hopes of Scotland.

Well I found one in Plymouth: Voopoo ITO The only problem is it's round, never good on rolling boat. You cannot have everything.

To update on this I eventually got an apology on this only when I had taken it to the ombudsman.

Just thought I would update this, she’s kept it upright for a year. Second year came in at £325 luckily I managed to update payment method without increase in cost when they realised I was not at home address as divorced dad. They did question through chat bot. However I told them it was her birthday present and would look elsewhere if they didn’t keep to there quote. Motorcycle direct £100 cheaper than any one else but you cannot speak to a human! Just chat bot.

I hate to recommend them but motorcycle direct. If you don’t mind online chat bots as only contact.

Just thought I would add to this thread, I listened to ultra processed people. One comment came out of a podcast associated with it. Supermarket bread I was guilty very guilty, 4 to 6 slices a day. One person commented they even bought a bread maker to avoid it. I had looked at my diet and what I would change. I wasn't to bad for processed foods. I could ditch ready meals before my late shifts# 1or2 days a week, I already had a bread maker, so now every 3-4 days we use it* The effect? I cannot think of any other significant changes to my diet or life style. I am not very good at monitoring my weight, hence recent number of weigh ins to check. I will now be looking at labels a little closer. #ready meals - often cheapest stodge. Changed out for other often more calorific meals. Pasta with cheese, more bread, baked beans, sausages, burgers, eggs, fried potato, air fried chips etc. Just with less processing/ additives. *Home made bread - This takes 10 minutes or 3 hours. Bread machine makes dough, 1h20m Microwave proves dough for 1 h, (airing cupboard will do as well I am told), 20 minutes in oven, That way we get regular shaped bread without the mixer paddle,

Rare I think he has got it wrong but…. I believe they do help reduce the minor injuries if you have a small scale off. Dropping your bike outside anyone? The incidents that don’t get reported, less chipped bones l fewer visits to minor injuries. Hitting things at speed he might be right they might be of little use. Rare I fall on the side of safety but on this one…

I think I live where he has his second holiday home. Just on holiday they go slower and when in villages Window shop.

Can you build a dam to stop there run off entering your garden?

My rant is tourists and second home owners, they are back: cleaners/ gardeners race around getting ready then block roads as they work,* blocking road as to unpack for the weekend,* Stop gawk at changes in the town, the big new build old people’s home (that’s being going on since the new year) and the new front on ice cream shop (that was crashed into 6 months ago) are this springs main feature, stop randomly to admire the horses 1/2 a mile away, block whole road for animals in road neither with any intention of moving, Ride a horse slowly with so much shiny new high viz flappy stuff (so much so it gets my dogs and gets there attention, which results in dirty looks), All the expensive looking boats being dragged into town (with various standard of driving) to fill car parks taking all available space afloat, Double parking round favourite takeouts blocking roads - worse than a winter weekend and it was only Wednesday. Then there are the antics afloat: dinghies that where swamped slimy green masses all winter being scrubbed up, people sounding shocked that there 6 month untouched boat is a moldy and smelly, with non starting engine, Brand-new tenders appearing polished basically double parked taking all the space, new sailing clothes to the front, Boat handling and experience levels dropping simultaneously, That was just yesterday, life and boating will now be measured by when we can get parking space not the tides and to some extent weather. Sadly it’s during this weekend the area starts to take is full colour full and splendid beauty out in the forest and seafronts they will all be in full glories of bloom. The colours of drinks cans, McDonald’s/ chip wrappers, crisp packets, kites and other debris will be in full bloom around the car parks, the forest, road sides and beaches for the next 6 months. Hopefully they have cracked down on “wild camping” the tissue and excrement that leaves behind. *I am guessing second homes often have little or no parking as they are cheaper so more attractive and often the quaint houses in the middle of town where you would want to stay but not so practical to live in. At least the weather is crap so, I am sure I will be back with more rants later as the summer bloom grows.

Is there a way to see if a section of an audio file has been tampered with? Can anyone on here do basic checks? Is anyone any good at cleaning audio files and changing the volume during its play back, possibly slowing it down.

Round here the big egos and trucks are becoming far too common. Apparent you need one of these: https://www.automobiledimension.com/model/ford/ranger-raptor To navigate the NewForest lanes / roads these days: Given the size they have to be driven in the middle of the road. All other cars have to get out of the way. Then with your Cockney accent you must say that you own a house here, then complain about the tourists parking on the verges. I hate to quote the daily mail: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6140681/amp/Average-width-Britains-20-vehicles-expanded-nearly-1ft-20-years.html So cars are nearly 1 foot wider and growing. As for the Original post, if they would do 40-45mph with decent size boot (2 dogs and an outboard) I would have one. They are similar to the Citroen Ami. https://www.citroen.co.uk/ami?

My misses had at Smart meters fitted at work. She chatted with them about them, his comment to her. "No I won't have them in my own home they are not good enough yet." Nice guy great customer service, there's no more discussions about having one at our home.
