1. Nope! Get searching Please tell me they gave specifics of why we're not allowed back? Cos I'm pretty sure the Bar staff and the locals Loved Beefy...
2. Hope you have an amazing day Was lovely to see you at the weekend x
3. Think Jay (Saddlebags) and I both thought the other had posted a check in, so sorry this is a little delayed! Both home ok and gear hung up to dry. Had a wonderful weekend with you all, the rain didn't even slightly dampen the mood Jay and I were saying last night we had a really good time with him on the Friday night especially sat round the fire chatting and listening to music Really glad he came. Also Liveware Problem it was properly lovely to put a face to the name, so nice to finally meet you and hope to see you again. Cheers all again, I could easily go through each person there and say how lovely it was so to see you, but I won't break this out into a huge post. Just thanks all, you gave this stressed out student a wonderful break
4. I'll let Jay know about it, he may be able to come see you guys Sorry I can't be there, I'd love to see you guys... I have an assignment due for Monday so I think I will be spending all weekend stuck to a computer.
5. Sorry to hear you've had such a rough time Sounds like you're an absolute trooper through it all though! You have my respect in bucketfulls for that! Hope you heal up well, listen to the docs so you exercise when you need to but also rest when they say to.
6. Hope you're having a wonderful celebration and that your scalp is not too cold now
7. Kriega convert!! Glad you found a solution that works well for you I'd forgotten that Kriega design their gear to work together.
8. Aye put some spare change in Lite, already seen a small boost as I got in the late Jan dip but doubt I'll do owt with it any time soon. It's more just an interesting experiment I guess! I have to say I'm really interested in the tech/coding behind it but I have barely even scratched the surface! Trying to find reliable sources to learn from is difficult. If anyone knows any good sources, documents, places to read up; I'd love to see them
9. Is there any possibility of a top box? I used to throw a bag with anything I needed in a topbox on my Vara125 and that served me great. Another option, if you want to avoid the tumble dryer, is a tank bag that disconnects to be carried. I think Givi do a few to look at Have to admit, I spent a long time just cargo-netting my rucksack to the pillion seat! Means if you come off you haven't got something attached to you but it's safely attached to the bike and easy to take off at the other end. (Also the cheapest option by far and Cargo-nets are Amazingly useful!) If you do feel like dishing out the money, I have a Kreiga backpack that I impulse bought before a trip to France last year and I Adore it. Use it every day and love it to pieces! Lots of options for you
10. Been using them daily on the train to/from London. Great headphones, much better than my previous ones! Nice and small so no doubt they will easily go under my lid with no problems. Not had them fall out yet or make my ears feel funny.. Great bass too for tiny size Yay! Glad I was helpful. I've converted a few uni mates to them as well, for £12 they're so worth the money. Really glad you like them

Low sun

I really like the sun visor in mine, doesn't distort the vision at all which I've noticed in others, and it's really easy to use!

Though it seems like common sense, it takes a video sometimes to really drive the point home. Genuinely, thanks for the PSA. It's too easy to get over-confident, forget the dangers and it's so quick to all go wrong.. Keep it shiny side up all x
13. Pretty much my thoughts on all this... Putting the money forwards to have a training center escort you to and from the test, while you hire one of their bikes, seems like the best thing to do. When I did my test I used one of the schools bikes instead of my own, for a few reasons, but it might help that they tend to pick bikes that are "Easy" to ride. In my case, the training centers bikes were far easier to handle than mine, which was an added bonus when you only want to do the test once if you can. Good luck with it all.
14. Haha, Brilliant Wonder how many other things we can get Joe to impulsively buy throughout the year!
15. Nice one. They're almost identical to the ones I ended up buying. Some of the other systems recommended on this thread looked really good, but I'm a stingy c**t so I spent about 8 quid on that type of earbud that you can proper jam into your ear. Trialled them successfully this morning. If nothing else, they are very effective at dampening wind noise. Haha sods law! Glad they're working for you. I've been wearing these sorts of headphones for years and when I had a few extra quid (and a long journey coming up) I sometimes picked up some noise cancelling ones like these. I can't find the ones in particular I used to wear, but these are basically the same thing. I now have a comms bluetooth kit in the helmet that my partner bought us, which I can play my music through which is great, but I still sometimes put in one headphone (tends to be left ear) then go to put the helmet on before I remember! Obvious comment to just be that much more aware of the road around you now as of course one of your senses is being dulled a bit. (Yes I know, cars have radios but there's normally at least one person who says about headphones under a helmet.)
16. Apart from going down the bluetooth, inner helmet speaker route, or blue tooth earbuds, I pretty reliably go back to these. Pretty cheap but good volume, sound quality and rugged. I normally have a pair in my rucksack, car glovebox, biker jacket and a pair draped over the PC at home. I find they stay in place really well and don't ache in my ears when in under the helmet either, which I've had with other headphones in the past. Hope this helps, if nothing else it's [strikeout]£20[/strikeout] £12 for a decent pair of spare headphones!
17. Nout yet... Oh.. Actually, I've learnt that my brain turns to mush when ever I open a textbook...

19. Sorry for the late check in, I lost yesterday entirely Was so lovely to see everyone, thanks so much for having us over. Have a wonderful Christmas guys and looking forward for the next meet in the new year P.s. Cold day

From the posh cars I've ever seen in snow, you cruising about is not typical at all! I Adore seeing Chelsea tractors spinning their wheels and sliding sideways down hills Fair play not taking the bike out in that snow manx, look after yourself.
21. This is what happens when you retire.....you forget what day it is!..... See you TOMORROW night, GOG..... Thank god it's only GoGs losing his marbles! There's no way I can make it tonight See y'all tomorrow x
22. I'm like a ferocious wild animal Well my heart just exploded... Stop this cute puppy shit, you're ruining the biker reputation!
23. I only use my powers for good. Which includes having a go at stupid drivers. And internet bigots, fascists, morons, fox hunters, Daily Mail readers, celebrity chefs, people who star in or watch house renovation programs, anybody liking celebrity big star talent on ice, and people who put pineapple on pizza. Ok, I can get behind super-Maws! (Apart from the pineapple thing... Just let people love the fruit!) I'd love to see you take down an Audi driver that tries to violently stop a learner from filtering... Doo-do-do-do Super Maws to the Rescue! *Pow* *Biff*
24. Shotokan. *Goes to Google... Writes note on hand to only take the piss out of Mawsley on the forum, not in person.... Also practice fake tears for when the big man goes to hit the tiny woman!*
25. What brand of "Kick all your asses" is this?
