  1. Hope I can get round a bit more next year... I've been awful this year Though hopefully the bike is moving closer to home soon, so that should help too.
  2. Might see if Jay and I can make it over for this, if that's ok
  3. I stopped riding a pedal bike cos they wanted me to only use the roads in London, no foot paths. I like my life thanks! Least on a motorbike I'm covered in protective kit if someone side swipes me. Also wasn't there basic training all road using cyclists had to do?
  4. Already eyeing up some kit from America for fireworks! They've released their prices for tomorrow and it should save me loads Glad I didn't order a month ago now! If I see any bike stuff I'll put the links up for sure
  5. If anyones aiming for this Saturday, I'll be about! Love to see you briefly for an overpriced bag of crisps or shouted conversation over the crowd noise, as I no doubt get swallowed into the swarm (Seriously 5ft3 at events like this SUCK.)
  6. I suspect the popularity of Game of Thrones has spurred someone on to make a TV series. LotR is one of few epics I actually like both books and movies. But there was a whole lot missed out in the movies because of time constraints (understandably so). This is my main reason for being quite excited about it actually. My main issue is that I really liked the cast of the films and will miss those faces (Not you though Frodo, you can f**k off!). Same with the Hobbit films, they got gradually worse throughout the trilogy and god do I wish many bits by the end had been done better, but the cast was incredible!
  7. Hope you're having a wonderful birthday
  8. I don't know if it was because I was young and newbie but I used to LOVE this show, I'd be bouncing like a kid at Christmas. Now it's been condensed and concentrated until it's lost it's fun. I still think it's worth going and especially if you can meet up with mates at the same time but it did used to be a lot better... I worried very much at the start of this sentence.. May have also thrown up a little in my mouth!
  9. http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/oh-shi.gif Edit - What is this shit? Oi Stu! I wanna post the Maymays!
  10. Hmm that is weird! Thought that was kind of a given!
  11. Errm Yes, aparently forgot to actually buy tickets Will probably do it this week for Jay and I
  12. Every year there's a new bloody exuse (Hope the op goes well x) I'm Prrrettttttyyyy Sure you still owe hoggs one of those pints! Jay and I have each got one of these. We got ours off amazon for something like £30 and they're bloody marvelous!

    Catching fire

This thread was worth coming to for this line
  14. Ohh cool! They look better once fitted than in the website pictures.. Also gorgeous bike
  15. Hah! Do I look that ridiculous on the Sprint? (Don't worry I know the answer...) I like filtering and with hard panniers I can't as much, I also think they're somewhere in my mums loft... So digging them out could be an expedition in its own right. Might consider it again if I can't pick a bag...

Gets my vote! Down the the Mean Green Team!
  17. Ohh I was looking at these the other day.. Hmm, good to know someone rates them! The HG one is crazy cheap!
  18. Why not? The only bags I use are the waterproof duffle-style from Aldi (could be Lidl, I get them confused). IMG_2383.JPG This is kinda how it is at the moment, would prefer just one big bag without the fear of roll mat slipping loose on some random French road!
  19. Hi all, Sorry I haven't been about in ages... So Jay and I are heading France way soon and I am looking at pillion bags as I don't want to have my hard panniers on. I like the look of this but haven't heard of the brand and can find very few reviews. Can I have some recommendations for Pillion seat pack bags: - Decent size - Water resistant (Internal dry bags would be awesome) - Flat top as the tent will be going on top Thanks for any help x
  20. Hope you had a good day Forum Dad! ... With all the forum babies at the moment, when do we start calling you forum Grandad?
  21. I would assume this is an ask about group ride outs? If so they can be great fun Keep an eye on the "Ride-outs"section to see what's happening in your area. Like Beefy said you can also just go out by yourself and discover some new lovely roads.
  22. Hi all! So Hoggs told me today this thread had been started and I'm so so sorry I didn't know before! I started a new job at the start of this year and honestly I've barely had time to think... It pays the bills and I actually feel like a useful member of this team but I miss you all loads. Also been helping with wedding prep for two good friends and this saturday is the big day (For those who remember Spafe, he's tying the knot!) Anyway, thanks so much for the messages guys, hopefully after this weekend I'll have more free time (and less researching centre pieces). Have two weeks biking in France coming up with Jay, so def need some advice for that as well! Love you all
