  1. Yep the Finns more than held their own. Ukraine seem to think the winter may go in their favour. Poorly equipped Russian conscripts will struggle in towns that have already been flattened
  2. I thought the idea of less was the ability for councils to be able to dim them too they seem too bright. It's good for wildlirlfe either too much light pollution
  3. Was that a seagull that had recently devoured a large kebab meat and chips?
  4. I'm a big fan of cats eyes I'd rather those than lights on a lot of roads
  5. I had exactly the same issue with Vodafone over a mobile WiFi account. Same issue cancelled the DD and they started demanding money. A 1hr call later and they are sending me a goodwiil gesture of £37. I'm sure in some cases people just pay especially when they mention debt collection
  6. Im in no way jealous honest! Croatian peka is one of my favourite dishes
  7. Riding in winter can be good fun on dry cold days. Maybe get some winter riding gear Acf the bike to protect it and ride on those days it's looking good.
  8. Some sort of regulation and accountability is needed but I cant see all bikes being registered seems too big and expensive a task. Some form of being licenced would be the way forward or compulsary ID when out riding either way would be a tough one. I think all road users on any form of wheels need some sort of liability insurance
  9. I'll take a look Richard great bike you chose a great all-rounder hope your travels bring you some contentment and enjoyment
  10. Yes the range on the zeros doesn't seem to be getting any better. Notch it up to 80mph on a long run and I'm guessing the range will drop massively. Better off with a super soco for commuting at around 5k if it's localish
  11. Been to watch Wasps get battered by Bristol this afternoon. Weather was great as was the atmosphere!
  12. @S-Westerly hope your mum is comfortable its all you can do, and be there for her

  16. The last year of the Kuna before they change to Euro in January. Hope you have a great trip
  17. I think the whole issue with politicians these days is they have no sense of comittment and most only represent themselves don't see themselves as servants of their constituents. It should be a real honour to serve as a politician and for them to have a sense of being there till the end and going the extra mile but they don't. You listen to the debates and see the way they act like children, show little respect for each other. Hardly any of them can just say sorry when they get things wrong and vow to put it right. They all deny things until proven hardly right honorable is it?

  22. Indeed a tricky thing time can be the best healer the time in between being very hard. Victim support are very helpful indeed but like everything he has to want to speak to someone. Best wishes for yoy both. Nothing more personal than being a victim of crime a total invasion of your privacy
  23. So prepped the bike for a few months of slumber. Pre op on Thursday I've shielded at home and got everything ready so wife has nothing to do whilst I have my operation. Told work I won't be starting my new job on Monday as I have surgery then. Phone call at 3pm today its cancelled due to an emergency op. I know it can't be helped but I'm generally at a low ebb today sobriety out the window and five pints later things seem only slightly better!
  24. Not tried it on my Africa twin but when I had the tracer 900gt it was fine with the panniers and even the top box but tended to remove that as the cover would sit a bit high on the back I wanted it to cover the rear wheel. That was using the bigger of the 2 covers they make
