  1. I blame this bloke he's gone very quiet we need to know his thoughts.
  2. Some of the new royal enfield 350 offerings seem quite good they have improved their quality since I had my himalayan. But can't go wrong with a Honda cb500
  3. Sprint looks great in that colour it's a great machine I like Brighton too. Wife and I did a weekend there a few years back had a smashing few days touring on the bike
  4. For what it's worth that er6 engi e has been around a long time and used in some new Chinese bikes. But any used bike is only as good as how its been cared for
  5. Great little Commuter mate
  6. No just an angry man in a van nearly took out an aygo he overtook then undertook us. Wife said he was doing the usual shouting and swearing as he undertook. He was in a curtain side sprinter box van just dinked the corner of his van. I was coming off m5 onto m6 its 2 lanes dedicated for different routes and towing I can't work out what his problem was main thing is we're OK and he's still a nob!
  7. I camera in the other car the one in this one died last week . We were going down to one car just did so a little quicker than expected
  8. They are out there just waiting for the insurance to sort this one out ot deliberately swiped on the motorway van then just made off!
  9. If anyone @Mick67 of @fastbob are planning a trip there in the near future let me know I'll try and roll up there. Plenty of bike parking spaces
  10. One of my favourite localish stops I can confirm the rock cakes are the best and a great ice cream selection too!
  11. Is there a picture of Kevin going to make it into next year's tmbf calender?
  12. I find that with rideapart articles a bit half baked.
  13. Enjoy the sunshine happy birthday!
  14. Id say the same as @Troyit is the case you are using muscles differently but in short could be anything.
  15. A sobering message went out today at work about a 3rd colleague's funeral in a month having taken their own lives. No mention that something must be wrong for so many to slip the net in a short space of time there's no words
  16. I had issues with my RE himalayan when I had it. I heard rumours of headstock bearings not being properly greased on manufacture. I think the decent dealers made sure they were packed with grease before sale. I had the issue with it dealer stated they were fine I asked them to take a look as it wasn't right and no surprise it was shagged they denied k owing about the issue everyone else knew about A good dealer/service agent is key
  17. Just gone and put a deposit down on a yaris hybrid. My car of 12 yrs has been side swiped deliberately by some scumbag last week on the motorway who made off. We were planning going down to 1 car just done so a little quicker then anticipated.
  18. Another new bike company I've not heard of. Looks nice but bloody uncomfy! Motorcycle News: Ruby readies up: New British firm set to unveil production-ready single at this year's NEC show. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/mac-motorcycles-ruby/
  19. Glad things are moving in the right direction. Caring for your parents is v stressful and draining sometimes. I'm there everyday normally at least twice a day, can cause a fee issues with siblings, I had a big blow up the other day with them. They go for 10 minutes and sort stuff and go. All she wants sometimes is just to chat and stimulate her mind.
  20. Sorry to hear that. My mum has dementia she went into hospital last April walking and came out the end of May bed bound and still is today. You need to keep onto the social workers re a package of care which will be needed. District nurses and Dr should be able to sort this too. Best way to resolve is complaints to council or pals if it's the NHS. If you need anything pm me this is my wife's area of expertise. We have a good setup of care and support but we really had to fight for it.
  21. This one really made me laugh and I'm having a shit day so must be funny
  22. Everyone was embracing cafe culture duriing covid. Probably all the council officuals were at home at that point. I know there are h&s assessments for everything but it's nuts and councils charge a lot of businesses silly money to have outside seating and boards etc no encouragement for small business who pay their taxes more so than big corporations
  23. Feel your pain there early 90s I went through 4 companies in my apprenticeship due to firms to the wall.
