What about Suzuki GS500 there are thousands about cheap to run and spares are no problem. As Bob says er500 same applies.

Rossi is past it now Yamaha must be crying paying him to sell flags and t shirts. To be regularly beaten by your team mate and privateers on a lesser spec Yamaha says it all. The sooner they pension him off and give Quartararo his bike the better. Same goes for the Lorenzo he either needs to walk away and retire before he gets the big elbow as the new young guns are coming through. If anyone missed it google alex Marquez high side in practice in japan what an amazing bit of luck and skill, if he ends up as good as his brother they will rule moto gp for a long while.

Every time I hear or see these muppets I am seriously thinking of buying an old jap 2 stroke bike just to rev it up in a cloud of smoke. To get my blood pressure down the other day after the tree huggers were on the news I went out to the garage and fired up the petrol strimmer. Didn't cut any grass but it reduced my blood pressure.

Im wondering what excuse the tee shirt and flag seller will come up with now that he was beaten again by his team mate and two private yamahas. He needs to pack in at the end of the season and give a younger gun a go on the factory bike.

Have a look at the Mash 400 also I saw a few of these over at the classic tt and they looked a nice bit of kit.
-
If you want the classic bike look how about the Royal Enfield range. The new 650 is the top selling bike this year apparently then there is the 500 single and the adventure bike also.
-
No they just need to sack the Italian T shirt and flag seller and get some fresh talent in their team.

The other races from Thursday will be on Sunday night and then Saturdays racing highlights will be on Monday night. There will also be a highlights package shown on bbc 2 next sunday at 12.30pm nationwide I think.
-
From the depths of my brain I think you go onto I player and change your location to Northern Ireland and then you should be able to watch it. I will give it ago later and report back.
-
It was live on bbc radio northern Ireland today but I think racing has finished for today. First highlights programme is tomorrow night Friday at 22.35 on bbc Ni.
-
You can watch it on freesat by going to bbc ni or on the net or on the bbc I player you may have to change your region to North west if I remember right.

Just a thought on not starting via the starter motor, are they like the old speedflights that you have to have front brake applied to make it start on the button.

Have a look on this site https://www.cmsnl.com/honda-st1300-paneuropean-2004-4-england_model4851/partslist/08L5504.html#.XRulHXJYaFk look at part 8 or part 13. It says no 13 is out of stock but do a search on the part number in google and im sure it will be available somewhere. -
It makes me laugh im surprised Marc Marques hasn't been blamed for Brexit yet. The only one to blame for that crash was Lorenzo, to fast and to late into the turn and loses the front end then play skittles.

Not sure if this is allowed on here but if not please remove this post. If any of you followed the tt you will be aware of the sad death of a very talented rider Daley Mathison. There has been a funding page set up to help his young family at this very sad a difficult time. https://uk.gofundme.com/in-memory-of-daley-mathison

The racing has been postponed for Saturday as the bad weather they have had all week as caused havoc to the practice schedule. They were hoping to run some practice today (Saturday) but so far weather has not helped so hoping to run later on. Weather is ment to improve for sunday so they are going to run a practice schedule and the races from Saturday. For info have a look at this site for info https://www.iomtt.com/news

For all you road race fans if you go on bbc Northern Ireland tonight (Friday 17th ) they have practice and racing from the NW200 with more on sunday and Monday night. I know on years gone by I have watched it live on Saturday on the red button but not sure if this is happening this year.

Just get the correct split link for your chain it will be fine, Do Not ride it with a damaged soft link if it snaps you could be in a whole world of trouble. -

All MotoE bikes destroyed in a fire.
Old-codger replied to Westbeef's topic in Racing and Track Days
Do you think they overloaded the extension socket -
Repair it properly or it will come back to bite you in the future. Take the plate off and if you aint competent to fix it take it to an engineering firm and get them to do it. It wont cost a lot.
