You should be fine although it says 600mm most machines are 595mm, hopefully the machine will be on a solid floor just make sure the feet are adjusted so it doesnt shake. As others have said be careful with large single items as they cause inbalance and shake. Tip for getting machines in and out wipe floor directly behind the feet wheels of the machine with a solution of washing up liquid to make machine slide easier especially on lino floors. Try and route the hoses behind so they are not tangled and run freely. One thing to watch for if the waste is connected under the sink on a spigot on the sink U bend check that the usually blue plastic plug has been removed from inside the spigot as I have lost count of how many times I was called to a job that the machine would not drain only to find the bung is still in place.

Sorry its a NO from me it looks like something built by a blind man during lockdown. I take it from the statement designed in Britain its made overseas so good luck getting spares if you need anything. Be very careful from the look of it they have one pop up shop so when you do need backup or warranty work are they still going to be there. And in a few years time what is the secondhand value going to be like of a manufactuer no one has heard of. As for bike gear get the best you can afford.

If its like one of these Ive had one for years Motion pro Cable Luber Oiler Mx motox enduro mtb BMX all bikes | eBay Its easy to use just put the cable in the middle tighten the clamp and then insert tube from your chosen spray can and squirt away. Its best to do a squirt a little and often rather than just blast away and there can be a little leakage but it works on all bikes and cycles. Not as fiddly or messy as a hydraulic oiler.

Have you tried DK spares in Newcastle under lyme they bring in thousands of bikes from Japan and the USA they may be able to help. Have you cross referenced the part number as it could be used on another model bike that is more common. Having looked at a new caliper on ebay Yamaha SRX400 Rear Brake Caliper with Pads | eBay it looks a dead ringer for a caliper off a tzr125/250 or an FZR400/600. You could get your caliper rebuilt by Powerhose Braking they are very good I usually buy kits off them and do it myself. Motorcycle Brake Caliper Refurbishment Service – Powerhouse Automotive

In the mid eighties me on a ducati sd darmah with italian made 2 into 1 my brother on a Trident with hyde 3 into 1 and a mate on Harris Laverda with a 3 into 1 exhaust went to the TT. It was 200 miles plus on the motorway and I can honestly say I couldnt hear a thing for days after it was like rolling thunder at speed. We took turns in who lead but I didnt like being to close behind the Harris Laverda you got coated in oil. My god it had a drinking problem and a thirst for batteries. Those were the days.

Never seen or heard of them I presume its chinese? I would be very wary of buying one if you could find anyone selling one and if there is a dealer read the Warranty before you sign anything as they tend to have so many get out clauses they aint worth the paper they are written on. Check spares back up and expect depreciation to be like jumping off a cliff. Buy something from a known manufactuer and with dealer and spares network. There are plenty of cruiser type bikes to chose from have you looked at the New Royal Enfield Meteor or Classic range. Or as Fidlesticks said Kawasaki Vulcans or honda 500 rebel.

No I would prefer a very hard floor with vibration sensor so when he hits the floor it releases the crocs to clear the carcus up.

In a true act of kindness they should donate one to me for safekeeping.

That looks like a vincent sidecar outfit with its skin removed. What can I say the Ducati F2? is the most beautiful bike ever made, I would sell my soul to own a genuine one of those let alone ride it. If I ever get the chance to own one I would chuck the telly out and put the bike in its place and stare at it all day.

Or large internet companies and individuals finding ways not to pay taxes.

If the starter is engaging with the gear it could be the sprag clutch has failed/failing. This sits in the back of the rotor housing/generator and is a one way clutch. What happens is when starter engages with the gear the rollers in the clutch engage onto the crank and spin the engine, the engine fires and the rollers dissengage. Over time the rollers delelop flats so they dont roll very well and grip the crank and the springs behind them weaken. On big triples and twins this can be a problem as batteries get weaker and havnt got the whack to turn the engine over fast enough which in turn puts strain on the sprag clutch causing it to fail and in some cases cracking rotor case/gear. But I doubt it if it will be that bad on your bike. This is what the sprag clutch looks like as an example. Genuine Yamaha Sprag clutch 21CE558010 & Gasket YZF-R125, WR125, MT125. | eBay

Yamaha SRX400 oil projector
Old-codger replied to vidas194's topic in Old Motorbikes, Projects and Restorations
Could it be that petrol has drained into the sump and as you kick it over its being forced out of the breather because there is nowhere else to go. Check condition of oil and if there is petrol in the oil do not try to start it you could bend a rod. -

No I would say buy what you like son its your life do what you want. Its a free country dont listen to the armchair warriers who dont know what they are talking about. -
If you can find a quite industrial site or car park go and practice practice pracitice stopping from different speeds not nessersarily emergency stops but just getting used to how your bike handles and how the brakes feels. Dont rush into it everyone is different do it at your own pace. If you have an instructor have a word with them ask them to watch you and see if they have further advice for you. Dont give up you will get there you know you can do it. Good luck onwards and upwards.

If you have a licence that you can ride any capacity bike then you can legally ride it, just buy a bike you like and get on with life. Any bike can be a widow maker if it all goes wrong.
