  4. It started last wednesday Henry was on the new BSA and they are rebuilding A Z1.
  5. He was a very talented rider and would have gone on to win world titles im sure. Not a good couple of weeks for the motorcycle racing world.
  6. Very sad indeed a great rider he will be sadly missed.

  8. Although I have upvc frames a couple of the glas units had failed, ive changed plenty before and watched pros fitting them so I just go online find a company to make up the sealed unit to my sizes and order them. You need to measure the size of your sealed units allowing for probably packing pieces between unit and wooden frame and work out the thickness of the unit as there are quite a few. I presume you have some sort of wooden beading around the frame holding the unit in. If the original sealing method was ok just refit the same. Hardest bit is working out the thickness of the unit but you can get calipers that will work it out for you or just measure framework and a bit of subtraction. This was the company I used last time and had free delivery as I was not in a hurry to replace. Double Glazed Units and Glass Sealed Units Online
  9. Kill switch turned off ?????
  10. Ive had a quick search but as you have found the folding rack seems to be the stumbling block, Have you tried contacting Vespa to see if there is an official one they supply or failing that there seems to be plenty of aftermarket manufactuers making racks and boxes to fit.

You just have to look who financed her campaign to see who she is paying back now. And as for Boris twat being hounded out the poor little lad, I thought he was thrown out for being a lying c£$t.
  12. As others have said do a wet compression test and also check the valve clearances in case one has closed up on that side or stuck open.
  13. That really is a pain no pun intended, You must be due a bit of good luck sooner or later surely.
  14. That is a bummer hope they ring soon and get you booked in asap.
  15. Now that does look nice.
  16. RIP Queen Liz there wont be another Royal like you unfortunatly.
  17. It shouldnt cause you any problems only if it starts to leak exhaust gases which could lean off the fuel/air mixture and cause a siezure at max revs. If you start to hear poping and banging when you shut the throttle at higher revs it could be leaking more. If it was mine I would replace the gasket. Not sure where you are in the country but if you dont know anyone who could check it or sort it for you have a look at other motorcycle shops in your area and ask them what they think of the mess there. Its a lot to take in when you start biking and working out how things work and fixing them can be pain, finding good trustworthy bike shops can be a minefield but there are more good shops out there than bad. I hope you get it sorted.
  18. A lot of two strokes leak gunge from there its a mix of petrol/oil and carbon build up. If you wipe your finger through it its probably like a black tar like substance. A new exhaust manifold gasket would cure it as the old one is past it and been compresed to much. I would take it back to the dealer and ask them to clean up the area and fit a new gasket and dealer worth his salt would want to keep his customer happy.
  19. Have a look at the Skoda mk2 with the 1.2 three cylinder petrol engine, average 45/50 around town chain driven cams and 135 quid to tax. Pick up a nice estate and small car with lots of space. Its all VW/Audi running gear.
  20. Good luck Mate I hope everyone gets on ok.
  21. One for f##k##g ugly you would have to have more money than sense to buy one of them or involved in money laundering.
  22. As said its normal for air con systems to lose refridgerant at about 10% a year, some systems are better than others. Get the garage to put dye in the system first and look for leaks under UV light. A lot of people have their aircon off during cold weather but this can cause problems with seals drying out which causes leaks. Just use the aircon a couple of times a month. When you had it regassed a couple of years ago did they put the lubricant in as well as the refridgerant as a lot of quick fix garages just suck out old gas if any and just regas.
  23. You need to see if you have enough fuel flow and also the float height is correct
  24. Find an insurance broker who you can sit down in front of and explain the saga to them and then let them find you an insurance company willing to cover you.
  25. Many years ago I was on an enduro weekend in the peak district and on the first day it bucketed down all day. That night I ached all over and had a very sore arse from all the mud that had found its way into my kit. So Off I went for a shower to get all the grime off and warm up. Drying myself off I still had a red raw arse to went searching the bathroom cabinet in the holiday cottage for something to sooth my arse. The only thing I could find was OIl of Olay so I thought what harm can it do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well others in the cottage heard this blood curdling scream coming from the bathroom and I didnt realise my voice could go that high, some thought I had stuck a hot poker up my arse. Luckily the rain had stopped the next day but everyone kept asking why I walked like I had just got off a horse.
