  1. I would find a big bucket and stick the engine in there and pour diesel over it until its an inch above the stuck bolt threads then leave it for a week or to. Take it out drain it off then give it a blast of heat and a tweak with grips. If it doesnt move back in the tank for another soak and repeat. It can take ages as the studs have been in there for years. Another way ive used is the stud will be scrap so shorten it to say an inch above the barrel face then using an arce welder weld on a big tight fitting nut. This puts a lot of heat in a small space hopefully breaking the bond of the bolt and cases and you can get a ring spanner on for a bit of leverage.
  2. That has all the style of a biege breeze block what an ugly thing.
  3. Just a helpful tip to you all If you start passing blood in your pee get it checked straight away DO NOT delay it can make all the difference to the outcome.
  4. I know how you feel ive been undergoing treatment for bladder cancer for 3 years now and lost count of how many times that camera has been up there. I was hoping over time and technology improves that the camera would get smaller but sadly not. But I must say its a brilliant colour picture and a lot better than whats on the telly most nights. Only downside is you do tend to walk like a slow john wayne after a session.
  5. If the plug is black it is probably running very rich or burning oil so replace the air filter its restricting air flow and if burning oil check oil level. As others have said clean air hoses and vents dry out and clean all damp wiring under and around seat and all electrical conections including battery terminals.
  6. Good luck with your search, the way things are over here in the UK there are shortages in staff in nearly every job sector including professional trades. May be worth looking on the job search sites.
  7. Who is telling her not to change it? If she has title deeds showing her space she can do what she likes within reason. If all the flat owners own the lease write a letter to the person in charge asking them to tell you why legally you cannot change the number painted and you want a reply in writing you are only changing paint from one figure to another. Could it have been that the last person to own the flat was renting out the space and there are a few spaces around the area numbered. She could always put a sign or plaque up saying this is parking for flat 3 only and all other vehicles will be clamped.
  8. Dont know about your specific bike but normally you angle the front of the seat down so the slides into place then push the back down so it locks in place.
  9. Footrest is buggered so its buy a new one or try breakers and just replace, the brake pedal dont look to bad and probably made of steel. So remove and if you have a vice all the better you may need a bit of heat but gently bend it back into shape a little at a time. Dont go beating the hell out of it and keep test fitting until you are happy with the shape. Good luck.
  10. Probably yes, your best bet would be ride it to a decent bike shop and see what is likely to fit and how you can attach said topbox. Have you looked at the Givi website to see if they make anything specific.

  15. Seems a bit odd that just falling over has written it off. And looking at his profile it says 100% feed back but he hasnt sold anything for over a year and there are bad reviews and non commitals to. I would want to have a forensic look over that bike especially the Vin and engine number. He seems to sell a lot of sheds from Latvia????????????????????????????????????
  16. Merry christmas to everyone especially those that are working and hope you have a good 2023.
  17. So the bike is less than a year old and its already been written off as uneconomic repair? You need to have a very close look over the bike and make a list of all the parts that need repairing or replacing. It will not be cheap and the bike will always be a Cat N so will not be worth as much plus get insurance quotes first as some insurance companies dont like Cat write offs.
  18. Good luck Bob hope it goes well and you are on the mend this time. I should think the cat will wonder who you are when you finally get home.
