As I value what hearing I have left I wear earplugs whenever I ride. I've got various options; some are better than others.

Have to say that I don't ever get cold legs on the bike. Maybe it's me or maybe my bike generates a bit of heat in that area. -

Unlikely to be insured not sure but I believe any vehicle brought into the UK on a foreign registration ( Dad bought a car in Ireland once) has a max of 6 months before it must be registered on a UK plate. So unless he SORN'd it its actually an illegal bike. Its also very unlikely to be insured.

Can I ask how long the XCP takes to dry as I'm thinking of giving a quick spray when I collect my bike on Thursday? When I've had the complete valet service from All Year Biker I've been just riding off bit he does have a dryer.

I had my hair cut today but I've so little left the wife runs a pair of clippers set to 6mm and it's done. Saves me a bit of cash.

Another question on heated grips (never had them on a bike before) - can you add grip puppies over them?

Always zip together when there is a zip. Not so much from the safety point of view but more to stop the cold draft up my back.

I went with Hastings on their "Premium" offering which offered me a few extra bells and whistles for not much more money.

Exactly why when I'm up north I avoid driving in Newcastle if I possibly can. Sad really.
