  1. I stand corrected
  2. drinkable Alcohol is always fruit based. I believe @Six30 suffers of some kind of gayphobia fear of trying and enjoy it...
  3. Practice is your best teacher
  4. Was going to buy spare carbon brushes to my jet wash. End up saving the dosh, found that I had exactly same size as original in my electrics magic box
  5. Fixed the holder of the dual camera hard drive. Original lasted a couple months, made of cheap plastic and only a tiny slider. As result broke with vibration New (refurbished) holder made of 100% recycled materials. hope it will last a bit longer Screw on top pic holds the hard drive in place without sliding out. Screw on above pic holds the aluminium square to the vertical adjuster.
  6. Bike's tow bar is fitted onto the pan, all electrics working to perfection. While fixing the tow bar 2 of the nuts escaped and went between the rear brake arm and the swingarm. Managed to use my wee magnet to get them out, fortunately swingarm is aluminium so wasn't too hard. Moved the rear camera up, it was filming the front of the trailer, now will see further back. Washed both trailer and pan. Had to wash by hand because the stupid jet-wash broke down will have to order new carbon brushes to repair it. Had a little bbq to end the day
  7. Nob of today: ME Spent 5min slicing a loaf of bread because didn't look that wasn't already cut
  8. And you will need a valid passport with a special twat visa to pass the border
  9. Took both out of the garage, the trailer. Gave it a good broom, reverse the ST1300, reverse the shadow and got the trailer back inside. Loaded some of the gear into the trailer. Tomorrow will fit the hitch onto the pan.
  10. I find it strange that with a new filter dirt would get into the carbs. However, as you say it happened before. I know it is a stupid question... Have you by accident press the kill switch?
  11. You don't mention cleaning the tank. Try some seafoam with the petrol to clean it up. Fuel in the oil could just mean excess petrol into the engine. If you have to rev it to keep the idle then your mix is too lean. have you changed the setting on the pilot jets? Is the air filter new or dirty old? Have you cleaned the spark plugs? 10min running would assume choke off. Do you use choke to start it? If not then the pilot jets need closed as the mix will be too rich
  12. So, was looking for things to do in Cornwall for the week. A few things come up on the search like: Pendennis castle, Trebah (apparently some gardens) St. Michael's mount Are these people out of their minds????? The cheapest ticket is £12.5 to go around looking at a very old large house built by people long dead. The mount you either walk for 50 miles to get there in a short few hours low tide window or you spend £2.50pp on a boat plus the £24pp ticket to go walking around. At the end would spend around £200 just to visit old falling apart buildings Better ride around on the bike and eat in nice restaurants instead.

I know what @Six30 is after. A T-shirt saying "I'm the tw@t of the year!!" Living in a free country you will always have the choice of missing out and keep your money. Don't mind if some of us are willing to help out to keep the forum in good condition and have no issues in parting with a few quid.
  18. What excuse you will make make up if you run out while going out to fill the tank?
  19. Best remedy for that is a wee goldie
  20. Excellent idea!!! will need to get a lawnmower.

To you @Stu , probably worth opening a separate account to run the forum and screw greedy paypal
  22. All, Following an idea suggested to me a few days ago, I've reach an agreement with our beloved near God @Stu to make available to all members a TMBF sticker. The image is the same as you see at the top of the forum. Size will be 20cm X 6.4cm waterproof white vinyl with glossy finish. According to the suppliers the glue is "super permanent" whatever that means. Price and payment methods are to be confirmed but it should be around the £3.50 mark not considering payment charges, (minimum, I'm sure Stu won't mind of you pay more for it ). Regarding payment, Paypal is now paying close attention to continuous transactions to personal accounts and their system recognises patterns of frequent and same value transactions and will charge an extorsion for this. If anybody knows of a cheaper method please come forward. Personally I would rather give the money to the forum than Paypal Just a final note. I won't have any profit on this and any value will be for the forum
  23. have your pick... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgv_EKsZu5U Make sure you watch from min 7:20
