  1. Is this an electrical surge?
  2. I had a flu like symptoms too. 2 Lemsip @ 8hr intervals and I was fine again.
  3. Both Hondas have just the screw-in top cap. Adjustments would be done by adding spacing washers. On the shadow there is a air valve where you increase the pressure if you want a stiffer fork.
  4. I'm dead against keep it in the living room. Kitchen is a better place. vinyl is way easier to clean than carpet.
  5. What I found the hardest bit was to keep the old oil out of the floor... Second hardest is removing the bolt at the bottom, the guy who fit it was probably on crack. Everything else is dead easy.
  6. Very true but as @S-Westerly says that's a global problem not specific to a single country or region.
  7. You get the clamp from any half decent car parts shop. They are just exhaust clamps. Even hose clamps do the job. 42mm waste pipe and a handsaw to cut it to size.
  8. I made my seal driver out of a bit of drain pipe. Cut open length wise so it adjusts to the size of the forks then a second bit outside to push the seal into place. £3 well spent I use lithium grease everywhere. got a 400gr cartridge from toolstation. It doesn't dry as much as red grease. https://www.toolstation.com/lithium-grease/p89691?searchstr=lithium You can just remove the lid and scope what you need or get a wee gun to work with it for under £13. Delboy's garage have probably my favourite demonstration how to do it
  9. Is that Vale de Carros? Near "Olhos d'agua" village? Prostitution is an European problem not just Portugal. You will find the same in St. Andrews and lot worse in London...
  10. I never understood the fascination Brits have with both Albufeira and Lagos (further west). They are on the top 5 more expensive areas in the Algarve. Then you have the Algarve the most expensive area for tourism in the whole country and the least representative of the country's culture. Want a flavour of the genuine Portugal then go to Lisbon or Porto. If you're adventurous then hire a car and travel between Lisbon and Porto. As alternative a trip between Lisbon and "Costa Vincentina" West southern coast between Lisbon and Sagres in the Algarve. If Algarve's beaches are your thing then you want to rent away from any larger town west of Quarteira and Albufeira. Faro is always busy being a district capital. The "Sotavento Algarvio" Eastern region is quieter and more sandy beaches than what you find in the West. Being East faced it is protected from the Atlantic wind making the seawater warmer (depending on the time of the year). True that Drugs are still a major problem although a great improvement been achieved since 2001 with the targeting of traffickers instead of consumers. One of the recognised problem, widely documented, is the drugs tourism as explained above We may have bad heated temper but still love to welcome tourists and as you probably noticed stupidly proud of our country, people and culture And no, I won't go aggressive to my favourite twat
  11. What's the difference between an Essex girl and a washing machine? The washing machine won't spit your load at the end...

Don't worry @Mississippi Bullfrog @Six30 already started his race... Better an offer of something even if totally different than no offer at all. Some people ca find problems everywhere except at the mirror
  13. Forgot to mention. Usually the fork oil level is measure from the top of the fork tube. I found very handy to have a plastic bit (a hook in my case) with the exact depth that you hang on the tube. when you need to fill the fork you will know when to stop.

I can sell you my shadow 700 for £2k or £2.2k after I refurbish the seats
  16. Be aware that most oil seals on ebay are of low quality origin. a set of NSK oil seals is around £10 for both sides on any decent shop. The oil you will find it on SBS (follow link in the forum). Make sure you won't need any dedicated tool for it. It's not a difficult job. What surprises me is that you are doing it soo soon.
  17. You sound like those moronic idiots that travel just to get cheap sex in Thailand, magic mushrooms in Amsterdam or come into the UK for free NHS treatment. If your aim when going to Portugal is to get drugs convinced that you won't go to jail you're better research a bit deeper. People caught in possession WILL still get detained and taken to a police station where drugs will be weighted. If instead of 2gr you are caught with 2.00001 gr you're considered a trafficker and will get arrested. If the amount is EXACTLY 2gr or below you will have a fine and risk being present to a commission for assessment and potential treatment. Nice way to spend your holidays... But by all means, don' go there again. We don't need any more junkies in the country.
  18. Instead of talking shite get your facts correct. https://transformdrugs.org/blog/drug-decriminalisation-in-portugal-setting-the-record-straight I wonder if you think you went to Portugal but in fact ended up in Morocco...
  19. Interesting, my phone doesn't have that
  20. Don't be stupid!!!
  21. No is the short answer. Android doesn't allow to revert to previous version. The option is to wait until microsoft releases an update fixing it. Alternative is a email app that will get your emails.
  22. Sad? I think is wonderful to see that people go the extra mile for others out of kindness. Yes sad that in the richest country in the world people live in those conditions.
  23. Depends on which phone you have. My Huawei have migrated most of the apps to their app shop so I can't tell. I used outlook for a while but the app in the system is far better and I can have all my accounts in one place.
  24. @Stu Here's my early nomination...
  25. Because this is a subject very close to my heart and I decided that I want to share how random people have the hearth the size of a blue whale. What would you do?
