  1. @Stu This one?
  2. Used in place of the usual helicopter, They are cheaper to run apparently. Less maintenance, can stay in the air longer etc
  3. Don't listen to Stu. £150 and a bag of chips!
  4. I've still got £150 of christmas money left if you do decide to sell
  5. He was on here an hour ago according to his profile
  6. Happy Birthday!!
  7. I just don't like the three tone scheme. Just in that blue I'd like and an all black always would look good. But never that other colour
  8. If you can't do a really long wheely then your back brake will be binding
  9. Whoever has been hired to do the paint schemes for all the most recent Aprillias needs an eye test or sacking This looks like its been involved in a crash and had replacement parts bought from ebay
  10. Chinese bikes
  11. @125cc I used to commute in the snow and ice on my 125 too. I would see drivers coming the other way staring at me wide eyed and shaking their heads As mine was a cruiser it actually felt very safe on dodgy bits as it was easy to put both feet down and "paddle" it when needed

    Smart Home?

@Slowlycatchymonkey when it comes to car heater controls I'm exactly the same. I much prefer my cars old fashioned knobs to my Wife's digital thing. One to change heat and another to alter fan speed. On hers there is tons of different buttons as its all climate controlled for each passenger or something like that When driving I really don't want to spend all my time looking at what the buttons actually do
  13. My Heine Gericke Stuff held up great in all weathers for 5/6 years and I'm betting its still ok for use now. I actually last used it on holiday in Iceland as its the warmest coat I own that's also ok to get wet
  14. @dynax Yep, was scary stuff!! They cancelled all buses in the area after that
  15. Need to go get dressed and pick my car up from Work. There was no snow at all at 5am when I went in yesterday, in fact it was raining heavily (so no gritting had been done) When I finished everywhere was covered, got my car about halfway up a steep hill I need to get up to come home and it wouldn't budge any further. I had to reverse/slide back down which was pretty unnerving with cars parked at the sides Took it back to work and walked home

    Smart Home?

You need to have kids living at home to maximise the most fun you can have with the smart speakers. "Hey google, play halloween sound effects in Jessicas bedroom" is a favourite of mine to wake her up in a morning

    Smart Home?

I have my doorbell set up to notify my phone at movement for the same reason
  18. I've never understood the point of those tiny plates. You are just inviting yourself to get pulled by Police. And if I was a copper, upon seeing that I'd be double checking everything else while I was there too
  19. Its amazing what some testers will pass and others are sticklers about! My bike numberplate was fine for a few years until one tester decided to look at the spacing between the letters and find it did not meet regulations!
  20. Certainly would be worth trying some recovery software. Most have a free trial
  21. Before my youngest was born it was great in my house for chocolates. I was the only one who liked dark or mint chocolate, or ginger biscuits. So guess what I always used to buy? When my youngest got to age 4 or so I soon found out she likes all the same stuff as Dad
  22. Bet there's loads of similar workplace accidents that have happened in every field
  23. I know of one fryer who did much worse than me! He had a little washing up bowl full of water he used to dunk his hand in to wash off the batter, somehow he got distracted and stuck his hand in the fish pan thinking it was his bowl I have no idea how he did it except to say he wasn't the brightest spark
  24. Truthfully though as my boss has said to me loads of times, there isn't much you cant cover in batter and stick in the pan
