  1. I use 2 fingers on mine. (Same brakes) There are loads of options out there though especially if you search mt or XSR, like dog leg variety. Beware of eBay Chinese rubbish though, go branded.
  2. Hi welcome, Cracking bike the Busa, l guess you'll just start with the basics. What sort of damage was done?
  3. Welcome, good choice, it's just nice to get out i've found.
  4. Thanks, I'm going for the creative number boards bonus points.
  5. Hi, I had aa cover for the last 2 years, roadside and full recovery. I got it on a 2 year fixed price thing for £89 a year, this covers my bike and my van. The renewal just came through, they want £140 this year for the same thing. Gem offers the same cover for just under a hundred pounds so I'll give them a go this time l think. Breakdown cover is one of those things you never want to need so it's a bit of a gamble. Saying that if you have it it's better than nothing and does give you a starting point and some peace of mind. Let us know if you find anything, mines due in May.
  6. Hi, welcome. A lot of the clocks are interchangeable, you are best finding out the part number to see which ones will work. I'll put a link up so you can see what yours is to start with, then you can look to see what else uses the same and go from there. The mileage is stored on the clock (meter) Alternatively there are some folk who repair them, they used to advertise on ebay, never used them so don't know but could be worth a look. https://www.bike-parts-yam.com/yamaha-motorcycle/125-MOTO/2015/MT
  7. One or 2 in Lincolnshire today, I did venture out but only a couple of hundred metres into Leics. Soon turned around and came back. 5 Bells at EdenHAM. A1 truckstop diner. Buckminster. 6 Bells at WitHAM on the Hill
  8. Ha haar.. that's a stretch surely, good luck with that one. On the subject of what is allowed as such, there are loads of places around here with ham in the name. Can you have each one? Northampton, Metheringham etc
  9. Yeah the little flashing light does go off after a bit. It remembers the time and such so it must have some parasitic draw, even miniscule. I use one of the little solar trickle chargers on mine, been good for me.
  10. Have you not an immobilizer and such drawing some power?
  11. Hi, the internet is your friend here, there is loads of stuff online. For instance a Yamaha manual, it will for sure give you a lot of answers to your questions in there. https://www.manuals.co.uk/yamaha/mt125-2020/manual
  12. Ar excellent, like an honesty box type thing. And it's 10 points for each establishment/thing you get. Ok sorted, thanks.
  13. Hi, I got my first points at the weekend, or so I thought. The folks either side of me got theirs updated but not mine. Did I do something wrong?
  14. Hi, you could try plugging it in and see if it throws up any fault codes. OBD2 diagnostic port under the seat, you will need the connecting adapter depending on which model you have. Cheap enough on the selling sites.
  15. Welcome, from a fellow yellow belly..
  16. I have the odd hoodie for when I'm skulking about in the dark late at night.. But never on the bike.
  17. Love a sticker me, got hundreds of them, good to collect if you like collecting stuff because they take up very little room.
  18. You can get your oil checked for engine wear if you want. They can give a report as to what is working or not just from an oil sample. Can't remember who or how much though, was it Millers?
  19. Blown the cobwebs off, quite literally this morning, and off the mark with a local favourite, Cafe 35 and Gurkha 91.
  20. You could say the same about deep fried Mars bars and Haggis..
  21. Yeah we like France, it was cheaper to get a place with a pool there than take the kids to Butlins. Before Brexshit.
  22. One of the things that I keep noticing on this forum is Honda motorcycles really suffer badly from rust.
  23. Sportsbikeshop is selling off all of its old stock, like you l couldn't find a decent fit. They only have odd sizes left now, hopefully they'll get some new stock in when they've cleaned out the older stuff.

    hello

There is a lot of choice in the midrange twin scene, the Hornet would be a good choice l imagine. Go and have a sit on one.
  25. I'm familiar with a lot of those villages, open roads through large village greens and always a pond, and all at 30mph. You did the sensible thing and moved over, let them race on until they are behind the next vehicle a few hundred metres up the road.
