had many inlines but three is my fav, p two I liked for its road going dynamic effectiveness but my tinnitus doesn’t agree. Well I’m back on a 4 not bad but just a different beast, still a fan of the triple and would return if possible. well sure their some sexual or innuendos could be made about it to put it into context but I’ll leave it there.

I’ll second Richa- we’ve had quite a few of their products over the years, mostly the gloves which we’ve found very good and durable. Textile all seasons jacket and pants set I got, some really nice touches and ideas that other makes just having mint thought of, lasted ages- the ankle zips eventually gave way after many years and different bikes later but the rest of the kit is still doing well. Had the intention of replacing with newer model but unfortunately the fit isn’t the same. So now I’m trying out Revits. four different models of their gloves each lasted longer than other makes we’ve tried, compared to some brands are better and cheaper short and long term. Tried/trying an American brand one (cant remember off top of head) not terrible but not as good or as durable as richa even with its so called “goretex” lining imho.

Agree to a degree but I was generalising, With age and fully run in drag is less. My experience: 1000 triple was 30-40mpg, 600-650 inlines 4’s were 40-50, 500 P twin nothing less than 74 but 100mpg could be achieved, 125 single 100mpg -125+. anyway back to the original point if you like the bike/engine (inline 4), the deal is good and servicing you happy to pay for, then its a great way. Reviews may or may not be useful but very subjective - only a test ride for yourself before committing will tell you if its for you. i don’t think hardly anyone will disagree nor be disappointed with the whole package of ownership.

If you want better efficiency don’t bother with a. 4 cly engine, Parallel twin or a triple

Policeman in court for taking action against scrote
RideWithStyles replied to JohnJive650's topic in Motorbike Chat
Look at the list of offences! who deserves to been or will be the victims of these feral nob heads? Theyre a waste of space that just make this society terrible to be in or near. So they decided to waste police’s time and their own to goat officers, so if the officers decide to act on nob heads action even if an offence was made infront of there faces, to question and arrest them , they would have to follow them anyway so the scrote are putting the “public” at risk anyway as they evade arrest. Now you can’t say they wouldn’t have just knocked over some old dear or a young child with their bullshit antics at some point? a guy at my work broke his ankle using a normal e scooter (how much law abiding is questionable with these motorised vehicles but their was no intent to commit an offence) and no officer was within 4miles anyway. plus No helmet, carrying a passenger, no insurance……where the fook is law enforcement really ment to act? the law failed “for public interest” once again. Its not just the book it’s a massive failing at the top level they live in a different world, they seem to have the idea of if we don’t see or look at it (the problem or law broken by these scum) it doesn’t exist, don’t have any idea of the public people or bother with good training of officers but just ensure they can type on a keyboard for form filling- if your job role is use of in a police car for any reason (unless its just a donut run or handing some old dear some leaflets on victim support groups after being involved with dick heads like these) then training must be given to all reasonable possible use cases including high speed chase, pitboxing etc- no excuse. its not just England but Ireland too. -
Ohhhhhhhh let’s not open a debate on this but just to say a motorbike only really steers on counter steer, hence the need for the round and radius of a front tyre and not a square one of a car. Even stationary - push the right bar and it will tip to the right. Push the left side and it will tip left. Hence coppers and gymkhana are so effective at turning REALLY tight corners at FA speed…. bicyles and wheel barrows (to some degree of tip) follow the same rule depending on the tyres. Or using the ice cream cone method.

gone a small one very similar to this from a local autofactors- was about £20-30. More than enough to start a 2ltr diesel and 3ltr petrol, used it for a 2.5ltr beemer, Daytona 955, benelli 500 and a cbf125. No problems , small and very light. Comes with a small case that fits under the seat or topbox. Only thing with the bigger nicco is its bigger and much more expensive for little benefit unless your planning on using it very often (then I think buy a new battery or replace the electrical parts on the bike) or for garage shop floor work then ok but for an emergency and on a single bike it’s overkill.

Hi and welcome. Well other than an automatic/scooter would be, a semi or DCT and most know them as, Honda do one with the ncx750 for example. the other is to adjust what you have now to give yourself some comfort. As Fiddles said, I would have shown you but I’ve deleted the pic and can’t find the post to link it to. so under the foot peg will be a rod with locking nuts for most bikes, this is fine adjustable for the lever height longer to lower and shorter to raise, you’ll probably want it higher. if there isn’t enough adjustment reset the rod to the middle and look to the clamp that it’s connected to the gear shaft out of the engine case, one tooth adjustment does a lot so don’t go mad with it.

An ABBA stand thT connects to the main frame/swing arm point wouldn’t be a problem for any fender, only thing you will need to add is the pin that maybe for a Suzuki or a Strom but they are cheap and it will fit pretty much any bike very securely, plus you dont have to stand behind the bike and balance it while taking the stand on or off so it won’t fall over. change the bike at worse you’ll only ever need a pin kit to change rather than buy a whole new stand, saves money in the long run. https://abbastands.co.uk/product-detail.asp?item=superbike-stand&pid=1

Agree with capt &Dav. things to remember is you’ve changed (size, mentality, and needs), bikes have too, so what you you had then isnt the same now as you remember, nor need be now. ive been up and down capacity and styles of bikes since riding and more than likely the next bike will be different again. budget for bike, kit (your helmet will be well beyond its best by date) and look at insurance before committing to purchase of bike? usage intended- one season, fair weather, all seasons, tour, commuting? When looking at various bikes by all meant a sit and check out at supermarket style seller as a load of bikes in one place to get references of fit for you, BUT MY ADVICE WOULD BE NOT TO BUY ONE OFF THEM (see post on superbike factory)- go to a proper dealer or garage for that bike.

Aprillia RS4 50 2007
RideWithStyles replied to m0tion's topic in Aprilia Reviews ( inc Gilera, Vespa, Piaggio and Derbi)
RS50 2007 - We are talking of 2000’s. Handle bars are inline with the seat, seat angled up to push rider forward. 2024 457. As a nearest modern. Handle bars higher than seat, rake is not as extreme.seat lower, Pegs lower down, tank angles different too. -

Well yes youve figured it out jumpin on sportsbike that’s generally the rider/bike triangle of fitment, Some are more accommodating than others. It was cheap. to be honest I like the idea of SM and Hypers but I find them all too lofty, vagueness and softness in the suspension stroke of them disconcerting. but that’s just me an what I’m used to. Depending on how tall, long biometrics are you, what can be adjusted or changed to the bike?. -

Only 5-7mm pin disc locks will fit. And due to the groves don’t allow owt bigger or round in that space. If you do get the strongest one possible other wise a decent lump hammer and swing will have it off in no time. U bar lock will have to have a small pin just to fit inbetween the disc and hub to lock. Best way was a metre chain under 10mm links to feed it between the engine and around the manifold of the exhaust, through the wheel- anyone knows exhaust studs don’t come off easily
-
It’s a 125! its battery seems ok. you can hear some pumping of air from the exhaust. it almost catches at the second rotation or so and a few afterwards. I would check out biancos susgestions. if it’s the spark, fuel might be wetting the plug slightly as its not burning it. By all means look at the spark first , then id be looking at the fuel (is it fresh?or contaminated?) after that.

Well sorry hear but to say it……buy once and pay twice. Id demand my money back for selling shite goods knowing it was junk- I personally don’t understand why people do that. Bad rep the mofo if they dont. buy once from an actual retailer of goods like these once and get a higher chance of many years of use.

lol? Only if it fits and works as the buyer or user wants? if being pessimistic you’ve just confirmed someone elses belief in justification? oh how devil advocate.

Yamaha TDM 850 hesitation

Id agree with hairsy. If it ain’t SUPER CLEAN AND SET CORRECTLY- even if you thing you have it’s easy to over look or fook up. I would question three things: the idle and but the main problem I suspect for you is the pilot circuit, then the jets kit- if they ain’t trust super brilliant quality/certification they are your first line of them problem….seriously it doesn’t take much fook up it up, how do you know they are actually correct? Just trust the bag label? lol
