Amazed it didn’t snap well before that angle! At least you got there early enough so it was just a lever and nothing else got damaged as I’m sure the DMFs would have tried many other methods of scumbagness which may have worked but only out of luck. i would have involved them with the beach, mainly them being in it

Right getting an actual picture. you are now a very high risk person on two wheels within a very short space of time and want to load yourself up with a brand new bike which will be costly. (any claims with four wheels?) 1) you wrote a bike off- £££. Scrubbing some ncb and a mark against you. 2) not too long afterwards- bike stolen, even if you didn’t claim afterwards but noticed them you are a risk for theft and other risks of vehicle so a mark for this will be present. 3) now you wish to load yourself up with a brand new bike which will be costly within a space a two months…. that is probably why they say no….maybe you need to stabilise your history with the old bike first? maybe there is some other things that have you on a balance of acceptance before hand (eu license, dodgy history so many things) and now it’s tipped over.

difficult to work out when you give little info but expect an good answer. Well not splitting hairs but maybe you have done something wrong? for example in this header tread you say it’s “cancelled” but then you say on the first post can’t get “renewal”, They are two separate things with different implications. so what you saying are two different things…which for me is questionable and maybe they do too with something you’ve filled out? First thing would be to ask them! If they don’t say owt why you l feel they have done. It wouldnt surprise me if they just don’t want too (they don’t have to offer or even consider to insure you) or something of you fall out of their favour, maybe try some other specialist insurers?

Best way if you have a compressor is it use that to push the pistons out, if not use the MC and fluid. pads left in and a rotor or screw driver between, pressure or pump out in stages leaving a smaller gap between the pads each time to allow the pistons to come out in stages and not to let one come out much more than its partner till they pretty much pop out… those wires look nasty.

I have no idea what Mawes is on about (it’s a fooking film full of bullshitery) might aswell read into fd, 50 shades, Chucky, and fast and fook ends 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 another old bald guy because another eventually dies so we roped in a look alike….. but holy moly if its bad enough to really effect you every day life if not your yourself for all those around you FFS have it done is what I’d say, caters will blind you anyway.

Morning. At least most of the snow and ice is going from the roads and paths eventually , bins might get emptied and less likely for crashes, the young and infirm to end up in A&E. still quicker than LCC could be bothered with when they actually should of . might get chance to go out for a ride since late sept/Oct I think . -
They do, Probably because old Tri’s are modern compared to Harleys!. Jokes aside they do have good history (they like that) which is easy to forget about. Triumph does hit the mark more than not in design and build for a lot of the bikes, new and old. Ridden a few and really like’d them, own’d one eventually. Great bike even though it did give a hiccup or two as an aged bike, don't have one now but I would happily venture back to owning one.

Mothers was well over due, judging and confirmation by the driving. So many years of nagging eventually she got it done a couple of years ago. No problems, She was amazed the difference it made, even sorted her 5+ shortsightedness.

If it was for height you adjust the circled rod. If it’s major out and you don’t have adjustment left in the rod you can go adjust the clamp of the spline as the arrow points, one or two nonches/teeth are more than enough. Unless you have really really small feet? needed the gap between the peg and the lever peg closer together? which case then an aftermarket peg would have been a good idea or even a different bike if it’s a fail or fit you your biometrics… -
Yes. it is noticeably so that is good. the design of the head light isn’t the greatest to start with (the single side squashed between the two others and highlights around the reflection cones) but it’s primarily designed around the dipped and main beam to work to a degree not the side lights to tick reg boxes, gonna love the Italians.

When you say modified the gear lever do you mean to adjust the height? As in adjusted the rod? Or the clamp on the spline? From the pictures seen no drilling is required…. -
Yeah got to agree with bianco. So sounds like the throttle valves (the one the ecu controls) aint balanced/set to 0 angle correctly either by its sticking or out of sync, so if it can’t be done manually by the user you’ll have to take it to dealer or a garage with a ecu software reader.

Yes you can, it’s a dealer ecu software and slight mod depending on the age, which is extra cost and proof needed for the insurance and license.

It been a couple of years since I tried a flip as i was replacing the old aria but I found most full faces worst at the front for fit -use either so much padding it was like being smuthered or shot out like a tomato, shells so big and heavy looking like a bobble head /funko figurine. what i hoped I looked like: What i actually looked like with a flip.

Google say at least three are near the coast so plenty of choices, if your not sure about doing it yourself. all ill say is dont just jump in or screw about with it then expect a garage with open arms to undo the diy handy work. most garages would like to source and use their own parts, not just for the money but covers both parties interest of accountability.

Most stop the ignition, some the fuel. anyway the first thing I would have said is not to have bought it (looks really nasty), a different one or something else all together because these things will bite you in the arse at some point but you have and your here with it. The instructions should cover what you need to do! If not red flag. From what little info I can quickly find if you bought the correct one there shouldn’t be much ,if any splices as it piggy backs into the system that is already there. you could just take it to a auto electrician, car or bike specific, shouldn’t take them long maybe an hour or so…

No doubt the board is out of date anyway? or at least that is what they may say wouldnt surprise me as they do so many other areas… Probably an inflated rate anyway to pay for the services of the app and infrastructure. either way the only one to gain is the terrible parasite company in the middle. -

That’s the point if your highly likely to come back to find some scum has taken you bike away and you paid it to be there then why would you want to park there? Lower income. more bikes can fit into a smaller space if the area is ideal and especially if owners are considerate. more income. most riders don’t spend hours on end looking at random tack so its quick in and out, more turnover of customers. As most over pay for the time and you can’t refund the time difference so more money for the parking organiser. More income. you could go into the other long term of less wear and tear to the ground (EV weigh even more) and building or posts (so many posts and walls get damaged by cars). Most places now expect EV chargers….more weight to multi storys , maintenance and clutter. -
Yep your right SD. to note now many are returning or new pcp based sales? of course reading between the lines of ….registered bike grew towards the end of the year when dealers reg them to hit/get there targets/bonuses…. If you want a discounted new bike the time is now if you don’t mind the dealer being the first owner…. with the electric side im actually surprised it’s that many sold in the first place…. well with how slow and poorly the consultation/gov do things even with them “helping” the bloated car sector by it’s forcing its whimsical thoughts on I wouldn’t hold any hope/help for the two wheel sector til…..2040, more than likely they’ll impossibly make it even worse.

Not far too different, was the connection block between the charger and our Bikes live outside. was fine for a few days then wasn’t doing when I checked it a few weeks or longer???(i think), happened a good few times So I could nominate myself for that one. the charger was fine but some reason the block terminal rebelled about the one single thing it had to do, suddenly decided being gay/lesbian…. the benelli bike had a immobiliser, Bike which wasn’t too battery hungry but the immobiliser definitely didn’t wanna share much metal or juice with it. while the triumph had an alarm on top of, which or hated it and itself, settling with nothing but a brand new heavy spec battery….very often. both used to draw and need too ups from the charger more than you think. luckily my current bike is old, archaic, unmolested so it doesn’t have an complex ecu, alarm, tracker or anything really parasitic. its about -9 *c and still lives happily on the battery charger, barely needing a feed.
