Megaross with what your thinking youd like You can get them but it wont be the helilite one. with the intergrated or inside vest type: they aren't on every make or model which means if that jacket doesn't fit you neither will the integrated vest and not ment to fit to another one of the same make let alone a different brand. the jackets needs a burst zone to expand into when activated which is why they say you dont wear a back back with one. Depending on make and model (Alpine or Dain) requires resending to the company (italy for example) to be inspected, reset and packaging back to you after a couple of puffer jacket times and thats if your luck, for it to be damaged or scuffed which case you have to buy a new one again. still very expensive most are with a subscription and a 3/4year service life product, hardware or software like a contract phone service but if you dont pay it dont work. I don't mind the idea of them and they do have valid uses but they dont fit me and i couldn't justify it for me and my use cases, maybe the helilite one in the future.

High density foam would be better as it absorbs more frequencies, but if there is space for it id leave the rubber tubing there if its thin enough for structural and stick some HDF ontop of that.

Dang soap opera has hit the tip point the dude should look after his shit more! id remember if id left a bike about. And none of your upper work colleagues or bosses knew about this American that could of contacted through work channels? even though its the same company? Wow that's poor management. Thought most upper corporate toss faces used linklin to do talk and show off positions and show how many people follow them... I agree with previous post, Well want would be amusing if your employer gave him "the bill for storage or parking charges of 3 years as he wasnt a paying tenant nor a uk serving employee " now that he available to make it not worthwhile, if he persists; Do a Norton, Just give him the main frame and engines cases thats all.. thats how i got it govna honest.

Hi and yes that would be very welcome

It is an old school bike engine and gear, single cylinder, single cam, two valves, air cooled, built to last not to go fastest possible, with 5 gear all it will be ever so slightly is feel less stressed than a 125 would be. Agree with nick, how new? Have tou actually been running it in? That would be a top speed with tyres at high pressure, 40kg rider, very down hill. Could be a few reasons, Speedo is inaccurate, higher the speed the worse it is. are wagons/tractors /people over taking you? If not then is say its just the speedo. another check is to have someone in front (car etc) doing increments upto 60 anss above for a set time with tou following behind and see if the speedo matches. the other little things are Tyre pressures too low? Is the chain slack or too t? Brakes slightly binding?

From what ive found both IN and EX are 0.05mm. could be two issues, are the rings correctly installed? Including the rings correct Orientation? did you disturb the carb Settings? reset the carb. -

Reason If you look at post 6 youll see the diagram thats not quite all of it but keeping the system in place thats alot of hoses and joints! Even if you want /manage to bypass some of that (various options) its still a good amount and would to be custom made depending on whats still in there or needs replacing.

clean discs right up and make a coster or man cave ornament out of them but Youll be probably be glad to see the back of that lot. good call on the pistons, in guessing the far left caliper was the worst one? did you get replacement nipple bleeds for them too? heat along with penetrant spray can work wonders with bolts like that, but bet it would be a sod.

Good job! well known for the tingle even its a inline 4 .

Hey be careful what you say as there are some aged groups on here aswell. they might say it someone else's fault, should of guessed in might happen, probably driving too fast, too close? Etc. I agree with Angela and Bonio. Hi vis can be beneficial but it's still not fool proof, especially at this time of the year with the low level sun. Get a red /orange vest for this time of year and bright yellow for winter. Second ilsa post and suggestion, carry on with what you're doing and gain more experience.

Already at that stage with the heated grips and heated vest on now, all toasty. This year has mostly been, once a week to college, odd Day off work to ride the areas around me, some Sundays might get the loop rides of an hour or two. so not as bad as some previous years for seat time but looking like i wont be going further a field or a track day any time soon .

Yep Bullfrog that why me and the whole family's steer clear of BT, complete nobs everyday. at direct line, could it be just a nicer way to say its more the owner? "you finely aged rebel" . Did u try saga?, If you get the same answer you know it's your boy racer car .

Yamaha XT125X not starting after new fuel valve fittted.
RideWithStyles replied to paulebble's topic in Newbies
Eats rubber and seals, probably why your valve pissed out the first time. Me and my mechanic mate has seen this good to many times especially when they first introduced it on the forecourts and his garage is under one mile from a petrol station. how quickly will be determined by the grade and type of hose, ethanol eats or hardens rubber, even if the bike says it's designed to use it the manual will no doubt have it down as a need to check item on service and deemed consumable after 4 or so years, your bike like ours are no longer spring chickens. -
This mid transplant, now being a Honda you have to completely strip the hell out of the bike to get to anything on it so thats why it looks like its been smashed up lol. OEM are filament bulbs so i needed to cut the OEM connections, new resistors and new led indicators. Double check the wires for being correct and working in the order for lights. solder the original wire to the resistors and then the indicators. i didn't have time to take a finished photo but you'd never get crimps to fit in, corrosion would have got to them so ud have to redo them again in no time and it would look horrible.
-
Im with Husoi, crimping should only be used under certain cases and this is not one of them. pretty nasty and should only be viewed as an emergency to get by in a car for when your speakers/sub/amp cables got pulled out while you were getting shite out of your Nova. no way good enough for bikes that's outside in the wet and really thin wires! cut, shef, slip over shrink tubes below, link or twist the wires, solder, pull tube over solder, heat the tube and its sealed snd thinner to pop back in a tight space than the crap crimps. Simples. get a cheap gas soldering iron kit, can of gas, shrink tubes.

Yamaha XT125X not starting after new fuel valve fittted.
RideWithStyles replied to paulebble's topic in Newbies
You shouldnt feel much at the valve as it just essentially a tap not a pump, simply open and close like a reed valve. So id be looking at the state of the hoses for cracks so look closely while you bend and squeeze, clips that dont grip, gaskets and seals. oh yeah just incase Dont use E10 petrol... -
Yamaha XT125X not starting after new fuel valve fittted.
RideWithStyles replied to paulebble's topic in Newbies
Normally they are a vacuum pressure to let the fuel through. then when no pressure is evident they close shut so they dont leak. Hence why the old failed unit just leaks. Are these new one actually new or second hand?? have you connected the pipes the correct way round? So one will need to suck the valve open (giggity) while the other will let it out to the carb. -
never too old as they say. Have you thought of owt worse to do? yeah better to get your own rather than joy ride ur sons bike.

Welcome! Must of been a really nice neighbour or did you give out a really nice whiskey? nice bike, two stroke too? getting collectable those and looks in decent nick. That counts as a biker in my book and im sure others will agree. i give nods to all (L plates, scooters, painfully pushing to trikes and the nikken) apart from the crusier lot the dark side mippets... you know the ones with their piss pot helmets, tats out looking like hells angles cos most think their tough and above every thing arrogantly. penderyn is a welsh whiskey, apparently very good even though its not Scottish, my brother gets it sometimes. I keep meaning to buy one. If blue Looks like a port style one. keep riding and enjoy, update and pics are well appreciated too.
