So no-one else will be on there?If that's the case it might be worth finding out if we can have a gazebo too if we don't have 60 tents - their reason for not allowing it last year was because of other people being there/not enough room. If I remember rightly, last year she said it had something to do with the number of tents in the field - i.e the amount of square footage for each. Pretty certain it's out of action I'm afraid.You'll have to get to Tesco & get yourself some cheap camping gear! oh dear,it's not the question of cost,I'm currently throwing hundreds to get the cbr back on the road,its practicality ,problem is that if I come with the CBR my load capacity is gonna be ''very''limited'' compared to the gilera that had a rack on it and carried half a ton of my accessories last year. I just don't have the nerves,brain power and physical power to put up with that much noise and vibration on a long journey,it'll rattles and shake every bone and joint in ur entire being(its hideously loud too).In the other hand I very much doubt being able to fit everything I need in a large rock sack unless it's really gigantic,shall I start a ''share a tent thread?lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Susieque Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 You can buy tents and sleeping bags that fold very compactly and can be bungee'd to your pillion seat etc. I bet you'll find it's a lot easier than you think!!You'll just have to discipline yourself into travelling light!
