The Abba stands connect at the swing arm pivot allowing many different bikes to be lifted by having different connecting bobbins available for different bikes.ZRXonlift.thumb.jpg.75aac63a9ecd8b49d7f23e02dd1480bd.jpg

They don`t have to be horizontal either lol.

Cheers

After procrastinating about getting a camera system for far too long I finally bought one. The new innov k7, I used to have a k2 on my gs.

Fitted the rear camera this evening, I’ll finish the installation tomorrow

2k 30 probably but I only want it as a dashcam for use as evidence after an accident. I won't be making videos with it

I've been considering a GoPro but can't be arsed with having it stuck to the helmet, then there's all the battery faff etc.

A hardwired front and rear seems ideal.

You can fix a GoPro to the bike just as easily as to a helmet. In fact, more easily.

You can also get a battery door that has a slot which allows you to power it from a USB port on the bike, so no need for a battery at all. Only problem is the slot means that the thing is only showerproof but it's no longer properly watertight.

This strikes me as a far better idea for daily footage unless the gopro was modded and run frrom the bikes battery.

I know I won't bother with a go pro, I barely remember to charge the comms in my helmet. This is fit and forget so I can't go wrong.

I have dashcams in my car too, as I'm on my own most of the time it's useful to have a witness.

Finished dashcam, got new tyres fitted. I used the centre stand, axel stands and some beer to balance the bike whilst the wheels were off.

Gave it its first proper clean of the year and took it for a ride. Next job is fit the quadlock I got for my birthday. A virus has meant my bike has been used only twice in the past 5 weeks.

Fitted lowering links to the Cb500X as i'm a little vertically challenged

from my rough measuring tape check it dropped by about 30mm

I then raised the fork tubes up by 20 mm

Of course being up in the Wicklow hills it's raining again so cant get out to test

Will check the chain tension and give it some more gearbox oil weather permitting

They are. Trail Attack 3, I have no idea how they ride yet as I've not been out but they feel very grippy to touch.

Contis are good tyres imo (I know wifey wasn’t as keen on them when they were on her bike but oem shite doesn’t help) not as popular as some other bigger brands but that depends on what you are wanting/need as a rider and adjustments required.

DONT SPILL THE BEER , I use the locking chains and bike cleaner/25ltr water bottle/20ltr Jerry can in the topbox/ on pillion seat to balance the bike.

I'm planning on fitting Road Attack 4's to my bike when the current ones are due replacement. Partly on the basis of good reports from other Guzzi owners and partly because they are one of the few tyres still made in Europe (Germany). My Pirellis are  Chinese made and are OK but......

True, Conti's are very good (and I'm a Michelin Fan Boy 😂) I wanted a tyre that was more road bias and quieter

I'm not sure where my Avon Trail riders were manufactured, somewhere overseas no doubt, but I did get 7400 miles out of them, albeit lacking in confidence with them.
