It's a cat n write off because of the rear sub frame was slightly bent in the accident last year but it would be a good track bike, it's done 33k miles and been well serviced, all it needs is plastics and a new c&s and new battery and your good to go

BUY IT it is better than damaging your new one and you could always rent a van for transport on track days

now there's a good point saving on hire charges, cheap track bike and transport what could be better

Never done a track day at brands, only ever done Mallory Park and Donnington. Hope you enjoy, they're a real blast

I use R&G crash bungs, OK for a low side as they'll help prevent grinding expensive metal away, there gonna do nothing for a high side though, unfortunately in that scenario you just have to sit back and watch your bike being destroyed....I've heard that some crash bungs can cause the bike to flip but I've no experience of this. R&G do a test here where they deliberately crash a bike (although not at track day speeds). IMO you'll love the track day and get bitten by the bug, its difficult not get a bit throttle happy, but its great fun.

I can't really see how a bung would flip a bike unless something else is going on.

I can see how it could bend or twist the frame if it caught a kerb while skidding along.

Digs in to the grass and can cause it to flip over should the bike slide on to the grass

Bike sliding with wheels towards slide less likely to flip ..

Spin the bike 180 and wheels away from the slide. ... Flip increased and increased damage .

Engine covers are a great addition if available ..

Bungs may cause damage that can be straight ened trackside and gaffa tape and cable ties repair fairings but a hole in clutch or genny cover allowing kitty litter into engine and oil out not easy to fix
