Came from a farm and was totally wild but soon calmed down indoors. Outside he was a terror, he was the runt of the litter so he was only small but it didn't stop him hauling home magpies bigger than him. I don't think another cat would last long with the road that runs past the house. It's rural but it's the cut through route for most people so it's pretty busy. Quote

Cats aren't particularly good with roads. Quote
husoi Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Don't think it justifies a dedicated thread but for sure deserves a mention. So Yesterday morning I ordered my sparkling new zumo XT and some fork oil. Not only Sportbikeshop have the lowest price but they service is absolutely fabulous. Arrived just as stated during checkout between 11:20 and 12:20 Very well packed and perfect condition as usual, makes you believe that there are still excellent companies in the UK 3 Quote
onesea Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Apparently mice and rats where worse than normal this year.. something to do with covid I hear. People out and about less or something. Poison or traps, leave them out and wait. Got 4 of the buggers a couple of weeks back in one night. Not seen or heard of them since... Quote

Tiggie Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 It's a bit strange where I live, the first photo is from my house before I set off and the second is at my work when I got there, which is only 1 mile away!! Quote

Fozzie Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Good morning Anyone by chance ever had a BMW R1100S? There’s one going cheap near me as a project, 48k miles. Owner says it was always serviced but one day wouldn’t start. Issue is thought to be kill switch, or ECU related. If they’re known for electrical gremlins, I may pass. If it’s a good bike that just happens to have them, may take it on. Quote
rennie Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Good Evening Well I hope that's the worst 2 hours of my working week over! I've had to turn lights, air, HV. etc. on for the whole factory. It's made me sweat! I'm too old, fat and knackered for physical work 2 2 Quote
