Mississippi Bullfrog Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 I came across Lanoguard anti corrosion spray which according to the blurb sounds good for protecting bikes that are ridden all winter. It's meant to resist being jet washed and I tend to wash the Honda down most days after riding round the farm lanes. Just wondering if anyone has used it? Quote
Slowlycatchymonkey Posted November 6, 2020 Posted November 6, 2020 Never heard of it. Can you spray half the bike with ACF 50 and the other half with Lanoguard and get back to us in the spring? Quote

Looking at their website there is a page about motorcycle use so should work, it mentions hearing it up and applying with a paint brush. If it protects marine craft should stop rusting on motorbikes. Now I have my electrical sprayer ill stick to using the acf in that as I had great results Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted November 6, 2020 Author Posted November 6, 2020 Did nothing for my athletes foot !! You're not meant to drink it. Quote

S-Westerly Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 We've had it long before 5G. I think radio waves contribute to it, certainly radio and corrosion in motor vehicles seems to have been around for a similar length of time so they must be connected. Right? Quote

Wooden ships without radios didn't rust! It's only these new fangled radio things that make all ships rust... Quote
Gerontious Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 My Lano is just peachy.. no guard required. Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted November 7, 2020 Author Posted November 7, 2020 You know I ought to have known better than to ask a reasonably serious question on here. The alacrity with which things spiral into the realms of half baked lunacy is inspiring. Quote
S-Westerly Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Is it any good though? When I get home I'll be digging my bike out from Barnard Castle (don't laugh) and I'll be coating it with something before bringing it south. Quote
