Hi, how would I remove the rust on my motorcycle frame it looks horrible the rear pegs can’t be removed which makes that harder, and I don’t have the time or money to strip the whole bike down.

that is partly true it neutralises the rust from spreading but not actually to remove it.

if you look up hairseys very good thread on CBR600 F3 1998 - amateur restoration.

that will tell you what you need to do.

The only (most) effective way would be to take the frame out, sandblast it and powder coat it by a specialist.

Not sure if it's worth the trouble and the cost.

If you can't dismantle it thoroughly then any treatment can only slow down the rust.

You can rub down and treat with various rust treatments which slow it down but won't stop it.

There are various paints that will cover rust and are quite good at slowing it. One of best I've found is Ronseal NoRust, but I've only found it in black.

Hammerite is often suggested but I've found it to be pretty useless when there's already rust present. But you can get it in silver.

You can buy rust converters that will stop the rust , sand away what you can then apply the rust killer then repaint, some won't even damage the paint ....some will strip it right off so do a test 1st
