Its raining and I went over it coming out of a roundabout.I held it, and I always seem to be capable of keeping the bike rubber side down but f**k it... I just cant be bothered with having to do this all the time because some arse overfilled their tank or its just badly made, or badly maintained. Whatever! The bike is my only way around. I stepped down off a supersports to try and stop this happening but it just happens. No throttle, no brakes, corner gently... Patch of diesel... And woop going sideways. Only you can judge how hard it impacted, although if you have thickish carpet and it dropped a foot or two I would generally trust it still. Was it in the centre of the tread? I can reccomend a great puncture repair which lasted 3000 miles before the bike got nicked This was on my 600rr.Another day...
