  1. Great picture too.
  2. Welcome to the forum @Dave in Kerry
  3. Indeed I did, yes, £759. The fingerprint and face recognition are so fast, proper chuffed. Set-up was so quick, everything transferred, even all the WiFi codes etc.
  4. Well, mine's arrived, and I should also be getting £190 trade in on my Galaxy S10, which is boxed and immaculate.
  5. A very comprehensive write-up!
  6. Got the Xt2 on a SBS Valentine offer, £100 off, I think it was. I'm very pleased with it.
  7. Naaaah, it was unlucky timing on my part, I arrived just as he was about to pull away.
  8. I may be barking up the wrong tree but... After replacing all the seals on my calipers, my local mechanic thinks I have a "dragging" caliper. He thinks that, because I didn't remove any corrosion from the groove that the seals sit in, the corrosion prevents the seals from sitting snugly and the seals are then tighter on the brake piston than they should be. This prevents the piston retracting fully. Might not be your issue at all.
  9. Good time bargain for sure.
  10. Looks brilliant, just bought a darned Garmin though.
  11. I just got £300 off a Pixel 8 pro, Klarna 0% finance over 24 months, £31 p/m. Much better value than buying it through the likes of Vodafone or O2 etc... https://store.google.com/gb/collection/offers?hl=en-GB
  12. Is that far from you? Looks like a nice place to lean back on the bike and have a snooze.
  13. If you fancy stripping it down, and giving the frame a good rub-down and spray, then a naked bike like that would be a good place to start. There are some great threads in this section that will contain great advice. Now, it may not matter, but that bike has a real mega-high milage.
  14. Riding down through Farringdon, on the way to my office I was once about to pull in between a stationery van and a car, I positioned myself with the front wheel of my bike just in front of the van, just as he was letting his foot off the brake. He kindly stopped to let me in. "go on mate" he said" "I can't" says I "Why not" "because you're on my foot!!" Well, we both had a proper laugh. Absolutely true story.
  15. LoL, sorry, I was just trying to be clever

  17. You're not alone, my chain was black when I bought my bike, but it turns out it's one of those DID gold chains. After cleaning, I noticed it was a smoother gear shift, and like you, I thought it was just me thinking so. However, my last ride was a little less smooth in the change, and my first thought was to clean and lube the chain again. Glad it's not just me....
  18. Well, I bought the bike in December, and did ride occasionally when it was dry, but my gloves were sufficient. This coming winter, I'm sure it'll spend more time inside than out.
  19. Good for her, she's certainly got the bug. Lovely bike too.
