  1. Happy birthday @throttled
  2. You'll soon be removing those.. Have a great day.
  3. Good morning good people
  4. Congratulations @Fozzienow you won't have to work. Do you get a parking space in your name..
  5. Apparently, the GS is the best selling bike the world over.
  6. You're only allowed if you have a beard, and don't rev over 4k...
  7. I look at my local BMW used stock at least twice per week, now that I'm old enough. Just can't raise the reddies....
  8. Hi @Raccoon and welcome to the forum. You've done a good thing coming here, you'll get lots of advice. I would stop fretting and just get along to chat with a motorcycle training agency, they'll put your mind at ease and advise on the correct approach. A course will involve lots of practice in car parks so you get used to a bike, which is actually the main hurdle to get over. Then when you're ready, they'll take you on the road. Maybe grab a push bike and start using that on the road, just pick the quietest time in your area.
  9. That's incredible service.
  10. Looks like they might need turning 90 degrees, so the green arrows point down, and the crease in the armour folds around your hip?? That's a guess, of course.
  11. Whip the tank off, pop off the carb's and give those idle jets a clean..... WTF? Took 90 minutes to get the tank off, 89 of those minutes were spent trying to disconnect the fuel sender. Strewth, even the air box was a bitch. Anyhoo, now what? I have a feeling I'll be putting it back together to take to the mechanic.
  12. A post that stays at the top of the group, for reference.
  13. Whatever you're thinking, it's all true 35 years later, it would be quite different
  14. Excellent stuff. Would make a good "sticky"
  15. As a "white van man" in my 20's, I would often take my girlfriend out with me, and I can confirm, ending up positioned where one shouldn't be, is easily done
  16. That's absolutely frickin gorgeous! Despite the price tag, the bike is better value than the watch......
  17. You're flying through, excellent news.
  18. I could be wrong, but I'm sure I read.... LG invented and manufacture all OLED screens. Samsung tried something similar (QLED). I would think Apple not only want reliability, but they wouldn't want to climb into bed with LG. I can't imagine the demand for screens to Apple could even be met. Just an edumacated guess really.
  19. What is it? Must be electric?
  20. It's a pity that Britain is such a small market compared to the rest of the world. I'm assuming that's why there's so little support for Chinese brands in the UK. Better support would mean more choice and less risk if buying into a Chinese brand. My car is Japanese, but my pickup is Ssangyong, which is a Korean brand that's been in the UK for a couple of decades, but support is still poor. Thank goodness it's so reliable. I consider any manufacturer of motorcycle if the support was available.
  21. Welcome to the forum Billy
  22. I'd be inclined to go west. Use the old A40 out to the Cotswolds, quite a straight route, but then you have the glorious ride up the middle of Wales.
