1. Another Facom guy. I approve!
2. Some of the 10s plus a bonus King Dick (set to 10mm).
3. That's odd, you should have three!
4. You can use it anywhere you want! Simply unscrew the plastic valve covers from your tyres, hold the pump against it (which ever end fits best) and switch it on. Presto, pumped up tyres! Maybe... It's quite a specialised job. There was a guy on here who was fiddling round with that kind of stuff but it proved far too complex. If in doubt, you'd best get a properly qualified professional to do the job.
5. Sorry, I've got no useful advice but is this 'mower turbocharged? So cool... can you fit a dump valve/up the boost? Good point well made. I have a spare turbo he can have for a very reasonable* price.
6. I had a similar thought about A Clockwork Orange. I distinctly remember a scene in the original where they beat up a shop keeper which isn't in the current cut. I can't find any info about it either.
7. I'm guessing it's probably the original brake fluid so could probably use a change anyway so whip it out before you start the job - it's one less thing to worry about. It depends what pads you get as to whether you need copper grease - some have an anti squeal shim built it in which case you won't need it. You only need the slightest smear of it if you do put it on. Don"t know about clips and bolts (guessing on the caliper) but get amongst it and you'll find out! Pads aren't hard to do. Oh, and leave the lever alone until you refill the system.
8. Understandable though Fro! I suppose the place has cheered up loads since Six flounced.
9. What made you come back Psychybikey? I thought you'd had enough of us...
10. Suck the other end of the tube.

Better act quick six, I'm going to contact the bloke myself!
12. I think the lights are direct drive on your bike. Your bike doesn't chuff out electricity at idle to run the lights which is why they are dim. If they brighten when you rev the bike then that's fine so long as they don't keep getting brighter and brighter all the way to the red line.
13. If the brake lights & indicators work and the headlight doesn't with the ignition on but the engine off then it's supposed to be that way.
14. Fixed that for you.
15. WHAT!! £10 a packet?? Do people really pay that? When i quit a few years ago they were over £8 for 20, and most of that is duty, but far better off without them both financially and health wise Pack of fags in Cambodia... 50 cents.
16. Get the 13 bus.
17. Boo-hoo.
18. Take your plate off. Plod will be too busy catching looters to bother with you.

Pretty sure this has been posted before... I'd still have one even though I think electric is a bit wanky.
20. You could discharge it with a known load e.g. a bunch of bulbs and measure how long it takes. You can then calculate the power available in the battery. Or you could take it to Halfords and have them stick it on a meter which will display the CCA.
21. Been cleaning up some industrial drawer units for a soon-to-be lathe stand. I was nearly out of screwfix degreaser but found some gunk on the shelf so thought I'd try that... What a load of shite! There was obviously a reason it was at the back of the shelf! Anyway, I finished up the last bit of the screwfix stuff and I'm not even half way through. I reckon I'll get a couple of bottles in the top box though.
22. Dunno what you're talking about, Columbo is ace.
23. A friend of mine (who was a highways engineer at the time) hit a pot hole which knacked his wheel and tyre. He went home to report it then picked up his layout spray, went back to the pot hole and sprayed brackets around it. He took a picture of the newly bracketed pot hole and sent it off to the claims people as "proof" they knew about it. His claim went through just fine.
