  1. Blu Tac on a stick .
  2. I thought this was something serious like a bolt down the cam chain tunnel .
  3. Nah , you always get a tight spot , or a loose spot depending on how you look at it , on small bikes . How is the output shaft going to be bent ? It spins round so it's not being pulled in any particular direction . Just buy a higher spec chain .
  4. My Nob of the Day goes to James in Brum . Yes , a fellow member although not currently active . And before there's an outcry I'm sure he will take this in good spirit . Right then . You know that reserve fuel line that you replaced on the ER5 ? The big chunky one that was about three inches too long ? The big chunky one that you folded in half to make it fit under the side panel ? Folded it in half thus preventing any fuel from flowing when the bike goes onto reserve . Yes that one . The one that's been doing my head in for weeks . Nob !
  5. Great .
  6. I agree . But on the occasion I reached 46 mph going downhill on a bicycle with luggage , my bare elbows did start to feel very , very vulnerable ..
  7. If there's no chance of rain on Sunday , are you up for a meet up at some equidistant location or even further afield ?
  8. Yeah , only fitting , found out earlier today .
  9. What makes you think they have even taken a CBT ? Or paid for the Scooter ?
  10. No untoward noises . Definitely not a Harley .
  11. Keep up . What is the title of the second Wallace and Grommet film ?
  12. I'll be a bit earlier . I'm guessing your going to be on your CBF .
  13. And in torrential rain both directions .
  14. I spent the last several days giving my bike a deep clean and polish ready for Coventry Moto Fest and I am well satisfied with my efforts .
  15. I'll show you guys my " Brick Method " tomorrow if I can be arsed .
  16. Here you go . Use this as a benchmark . https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363939715987?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Dud63zJhQHK&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=9xhDzDPcSSK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=MORE
  17. I haven't got a lot to add to the very realistic assessment from Mr Bullfrog . It's an entry level commuter bike that is exactly equal to the sum of its parts . It has no style to speak of and is of little interest to collectors or custom builders alike . The most attractive feature by far is the mileage . This bike has taken twenty two years to equal the miles I traveled last month ! Put it out there for £ 2,000 and someone will come along in due course .
  18. Apparently not .
  19. Some people still work 9 - 5 ..
  20. Well they know where they can stick that then . Have you checked out Huggie,s Speed Shop ?
  21. I've been past this place loads of times but Ive never ventured in because I've read so many conflicting reports concerning the welcome that awaits . Maybe the bad reviews are from car drivers but I understand that you may or may not be charged just for parking depending on whether your vehicle is deemed to be interesting or not . Something like that .
  22. I could easily pop down on the Sunday for a chat but the Ride In only takes place on the Saturday . By the way , did you ever remove the air filter badge ? I've just discovered the original badge underneath , which was nice .
