What is work clothing, is it a office suit or something else? I sized up. I'm normally a large but bought XL Oxford hinterland suit. There's enough space for my office shirt and trousers while wearing the thermal layer but it's not too loose when I take that out in the finer weather should we ever get some. Suit jackets are left in the office as are my shoes. Just don't bring your shoes home and forget to bring them back again. Not that I ever did that......

Same from me... If it fits. Great jacket, premium feel to materials and let's in gallons of air. Plus if has some pockets for storage. I'll wear it with a light windproof coat in the early morning when there's a chill then just the Knox jacket in the evening when it's warm.

CBR so no centre stand unfortunately. The pads aren't new but aren't worn out yet either. That probably would help. I can give it a try.

My front brakes are squeaking at low speed. After about 15mph it stops or maybe I just can't hear it. The squeak is at a particular part of the disc rather than a constant noise. It's recently been serviced so probably not the pads needing to be replaced. I'm guessing it dirt trapped in the caliper but I'm wary of taking the brakes off myself. So my questions are is this potentially dangerous and is there a way to clean the brakes without removing the caliper or should I just bring it to the mechanic to look over?

I've no experience with green flag. But something to check is break down cover and accident cover. My AA and Rac policy would tow me if I broke down but wanted £200 to tow me after an accident.

2 incidents this week. One in Welsh valleys where a VW Scirocco decided to overtake 4 vehicles in one go. We drove around the bend to see them speeding towards us on our side of the road. Had to slam the brakes to avoid him. He just squeezed in with a couple of foot of us. Second one in the midlands in a town with 30 mph speed limit. On a mini roundabout we stopped to check for traffic. There's a bend in the road to the right of us. When we set off a Skoda Octavia comes flying through the roundabout. They couldn't have even had time to look if anything was coming as they were well over 30mph through the roundabout. Mrs driving had to slam brakes again to let him through. He would have ploughed through our car with a 4 month old in the back.

I've one on my CBR. Previous owner did it and transferred with the bike.

This was in Westminster. Bike was parked in a bike bay alongside several others so was parked correctly. Just hadn't paid the parking fee. The fine I believe is £40 a day or something Vs the daily fee of £1 or £100 for a year. So it's been an expensive few days for this guy.

Not sure if I should nominate the traffic warden or the guy that owns the scooter.

I can't be certain but as you have to resit the theory test for your full license and they don't take car NCB into account, I wouldn't bother telling them.

Commuting home this evening. Road is 5 lanes wide. 2 left lanes peal off and the other 3 are the start of the motorway. Uber driver in his 7 seater prius realised he's in the wrong lane and cuts across some cars to get off the motorway. I'm in lane 1. He entered lane 2 and then I saw he's not stopping moving across and cut me up at 40mph where I had to slam on the anchor to get in behind him before he went into me from the side. I've a bright red and white cbr, lights on, a huge fluorescent yellow back back and he still went straight into my space. Separate to this on the same commute home I was at a roundabout and last minute decided I needed petrol. But I ended up stopped at the lights on the roundabout in the wrong lane. Instead of cutting up the van to my left I waved at the driver and mimed that I wanted to go left. He gave me the thumbs up. He did the rev your engine mime. So I twisted the throttle a bit before the lights went green. Made me laugh and undo my annoyance at the earlier incident.

I bought the one-piece suit. What a waste of money. I get soaked every time. I now have separate trousers and jacket from armr and Richa a they are great. I have the Oxford hinterland trousers and jacket. Can't really fault them much as they do the job but I'm eyeing up the new laminated suit from spada that's coming out in may.

The shine seems to have settled a bit now. Bought it from a dealer so they must have used some polish on the dash. Now that a few weeks have passed that polish has gone and the glass doesn't really reflect the interior any more.

I've got ultimateaddons on my CBR. Can't fault it. All the brands basically work the same though so just choose the one that has the best attachment to your phone/ camera for you. I used UA as I put my phone in their hard case so my phones touch screen still works in the rain.

I've had 1 accident where I was rear ended when stopped at traffic lights. Low impact I'm the grand scheme of things but the padding stopped me having any major medical issues even though the bike was written off. I'll be forking out for an airbag this summer, probably helite.

I've used UA for years. The clear screen can still be used as a touchscreen. I did consider a quad lock. Although my phone is fully waterproof, when the screen is wet it makes using the screen really difficult so it's useless in the rain. I ride all year around so UA made sense. Also a lot of YouTubers have discount links for them.

I've got a nice little car for sale online. So many Indian scam centres contacting me. Then a genuine guy asks a few questions and asks what my lowest price is. I give him a price and then he asks will I accept 50% of the figure I gave him. Laughing in his face was the only way to ease the frustration. Also I put the car in autotrader. It's come up as cat c which is incorrect. Contacted autotrader who said they can't do anything so now I've to get Experian to change things. No idea how long that'll take and in the meantime the car is advertised as cat c which will put off potential buyers.

I've just collected the car and it was valeted before collection so maybe it'll get better. Wrap might be an idea though.
