2. I only work 2 days every other week ..... ish Well, I do 5 days then 2 days, then 4, then 3. Oh, I forgot to mention, I do 12 hour shifts and two weeks of days, then 2 weeks of nights. Everyone thinks I’m always off, but I feel like I’m always there! As you were...
3. I’m on my phone and I can see it too. It’s coming up as a photo link. Have you had your bike up on it yet? It does look a bit on the flimsy side to be honest.
4. I think that was a bite...... I read eveything with my tongue in my cheek, the way it was written.

10. Whoa! This is a new one on me. We have a lot of them in my town, but I’ve never seen them with cameras. I will be a lot more vigilant when in cities from now on and think I will take up Gerontious advice of never doing anything other than what the sign tells me to do.
11. Double edged sword.
12. Excellent I hope they can find it for you
13. You could also try this website http://partfinderuk.co.uk/ I've used it in the past to find a right hand caliper for my old CBR600RR
14. There is also https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/by-model/ you could try
15. Sadly this is not the case. My instructor enquired about this last year. The bike will have to be at least a 500cc, with that power to weight ratio thing that I don't understand, but the gist of it is that my 250 is not suitable because it doesn't fulfil the requirements. A pity, but there it is. Thank you for enlightening me. The rules keep changing and I’m obviously out of touch. Sorry to hear you are going to find the next step a big challenge.
16. Well done! You need to find an instructor that will meet you at your house, put the headset on you and give you lessons on your 250. You can get insurance for your bike in your name if you haven’t already. Look into it.
17. Get a hairdryer on it. You have to heat the glue up so it softens. Get a bit of white spirit on a kitchen towel and wet any residue. Let it evaporate for a minute or two then the glue will peel and wipe off easier.
18. I use a Sena 20S and as long as the device is in what they call ‘ambient mode’ i.e. on and doing nothing then the voice control works fine. You have to wake it up by saying “hello Sena” you have to pronounce it the bloody American way off seena otherwise it won’t work . It will reply “hello, say a command” Anyway once you’ve got its attention you can say things like: Seed dial 1, 2 or 3; and it will call one of three preset numbers Stereo music; will turn your Bluetooth connected music device on. This will be phone or sat nav. Mine is phone. FM radio; will turn the last station you were listening to on. There are 10 slots for you to preset or you can do an auto scan just like your car radio. There are some others I think but they are the ones I use. Oh there is one other but I’ve never been able to get it to work and that is when you have an incoming call you can say a word loudly an it will answer. I think it needs to be in ambient mode, but I’ve always got my music playing.
19. Put them back in and when getting on and off your bike use your footrest to give you a boost up. Don’t worry, your side stand will take it.
20. You want the clutch bite just at the end of the lever travel on a bike. This means less work with your hand if you only have to pull or release the lever a few centimetres rather than use the full span.
21. I was 5 in the summer of ‘76 and remember being able play out in the garden every single day of the summer holidays, the mud having gaping cracks in it and lemonade, lots of ice cold lemonade.
22. Have a browse here. Loads of mesh jackets to shake your stick at. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_group/Mesh%20jacket
23. Congratulations!
24. Although I seem to remember that you're meant to wash Goretex textiles from time to time, others the little holes bung up and it doesn't breathe any more. Not that I've ever bothered. Had mine in the machine three times in 3 years. On the instructions it encourages you to wash them. Last time I did, forgot to take the back protector out. I didn’t know until I took them out. I then realised why the washing machine made a bit more noise than normal
