Bike won't go!

The battery could be showing a good voltage when it's off load.....but could collapse when it's under load......so, I agree with the other guys.....New battery time I think.....
2. Broken it already?...... But seriously......Mandy's Speed 4 has a Datatool alarm and it tweets at you if you look at it funny......no adjustments, so we just have to put up with it.....

Holidays

We were going to Mexico next Saturday (2nd June)....1 week touring the Mayan ruins and the second week chilling on a beach.....I say WERE....that was until Saturday morning when we got a call from the tour operator to say that the first weeks tour wasn't happening! That was the main reason for going there......so we cancelled the whole thing and demanded a refund......now booked a last minute 2 weeks in Cyprus......not what we were planning, but just got to take what's available. Gonna pursue the original tour operator for compensation and reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses.....as I'd already booked the car park at the airport and ordered currency.....
4. Could be your problem.....They need the copper washer to seal correctly.....
5. They fit like normal jeans.....but are obviously a bit wider if you have the hip armour fitted...... Hood will alter the length to suit if required. What I like about them is that the para aramid lining covers the whole Jean to just below the knee, unlike some other brands..... RoadSkin are another make that I've seen around.....but I've not tried them.
6. I'm with bonio with the Hood jeans......mine are a good few years old and still going strong...... The BikeSafe stall at the festival of motorcycling show at the weekend had a pair of Hood jeans that someone had an off in....barely a mark on them......unlike the pair of trackies alongside them......
7. I've got a Denali SoundBomb on my bike for just these sort of occasions. .....
8. Where's the beer fridge?......

Oh Dear

Nice one, mate......I hope you get the "job".....
10. Yeah.....there's never anything interesting in the Triumph Triple Riders FB page....... just pictures of members showing off their new hoodies!
11. Possibly battery, but also possibly the charging circuit components......
12. Nice one mate......keep it shiny side up......
13. You could join the Triumph Triple Riders UK Facebook page now......but only if you're not an easily offended little princess......

Divvy 900 issues

Header blowing.......
15. I answered in your introduction thread, but it's deffo worth burping it by squeezing the top hose several times, as you can get airlocks in the water jacket which will give you the symptoms you've described. ......
16. Has yours got Arrows, Six?........there's nothing like the sound of that triple when it's on song...... Had mine six years this year.....still makes me smile when I ride it.....
17. Streets a 675 , Speed is a 1050, triple r has brembos and ohlins suspension don't know what ts has or hasn't got Further complicated by the new Street, which is 765cc......
18. Thanks for posting that offer Tony.......hopefully see you on here more frequently again...... I've got guys at work who've not been with us long who know more than me (with 30 years experience of working on this type of equipment).....so I just ignore them and let them crack on.....Unfortunately it's quite often me that ends up getting called in to sort out their f*ck ups.....but it's those that appreciate my help and advice that outweigh the tw*ts......so that makes it worthwhile. ......
19. I wouldn't be leaving a tail pack on the bike when it's unattended......also, you won't get a lid in a 30l Tailpack. .....or, at least, in a Kreiga Tailpack. A decent top box with a baseplate will be transferable between bikes.....just need a rack or adapter kit when you change bikes. One of my colleagues rides an FZ1 and when he goes off touring with his mates he has a secondhand pillion seat pad that he's screwed a topbox mounting plate to.....so he just fits that to the bike and puts the topbox on it and away he goes.....but when he's riding locally he just refits the standard pillion seat pad......
20. Unfortunately I was working away last Tuesday, GOG.......may be able to make next Tuesday, but Mandy's bike is out of MOT at the moment and I don't think we'll be able to get it done by then......and I'm working away the week after that too......
21. Nice job mate......
22. Accommodation booked for Friday and Saturday nights.......we'll be in the car unfortunately, as we'll be heading up to Northumberland on Sunday morning.....but at least we should get there. Couldn't get the Friday off work, but hopefully we can head over straight after work.....so should be there by 8pm......
