@Steve_M Mine is what my wife's dad made himself many moons ago from an old gas bottle from work. When he died I was quick to claim it before it ended up being poached by one of his workmates or worse ending up in a skip

@Stu bathroom is finished except for the towel cupboard. Its a floor to ceiling thing that many moons ago was the airing cupboard with an immersion heater. I'm awaiting the new doors still as they are a stupidly odd size that had to be made bespoke Not looking forward to it as it is the walls are full of pipework that needs boxing in to make it look nice but there are things that we still need access to like the stop tap and the filling loop for the boiler.

Not yet. The Wife and I are off for a pub meal and drink next Thursday. I've actually been more looking forward to eating a meal out than the drink

I don't care about others people's choices, and will usually live by "you do you, I'll do me" but I have to say that working in my trade I have come across a ton of mouthy vegans. Usually asking questions on the lines of " Do you cook your chips separately from the DEAD animals?' I respond with "we do but use beef dripping to fry in, so sorry about that" with a big customer service grin on my face

Cordless angle grinders are scarily cheap nowadays which must surely add to the problem. You can buy a cheap chinese battery powered one on ebay for £20 so that puts it in reach of pretty much anyone

Most of the singers or bands I plan to see are American so I'm waiting patiently to see what will happen. I had planned to go to Country 2 Country (I don't care, I like Country, just make your jokes and move on ) last year but that obviously never happened.

Usually you find someone will walk up and say something on the lines of "I got rid of my bike, I was just too fast, would do 12'oclock wheelies at 60mph etc etc and knew my luck would run out eventually" -
I have but I'm not allowed to drink it with the antibiotics! I've got some over the counter co codamol. If things get any worse I've got a stash of my Wifes full strength codeine pills

Woke up at 3am to this Dental abscess. All dentists including mine are shut until Tuesday. Emergency appointment available on Sunday in Harrogate I've just spent last few hours in a&e and got some antibiotics from them.
