Lumb Farm Country Club, Derby Road, Marehay Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 8JNSusieque and Rennie went and checked it out.....but I guess a search of accomodation around this postcode may throw some alternatives up if the venue is a bit expensive for B&B.... Grumpy Old Git Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 I did look at B&B accomodation 'nearby' (11 miles from the venue) but when you add the cost of the taxi fare (I will not drink J2O all night!) each way for two journeys, the price was not far off being the same!. Cheapest would be to use a tent (buy/borrow/share) and stay in the venue camping field. The only reason I'm not doing that is that I really do suffer from back and neck problems and camping out causes 'problems' for weeks afterwards.There may be B&B's nearer who do not have a website (you could try the Tourist Office).Hope you do come - it is always a great event.
