James in Brum Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Changing the stator on the bike with my kids Probably a bit of allotmenting and some tidying the house. Quote
Mr Fro Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Been cleaning up some industrial drawer units for a soon-to-be lathe stand.I was nearly out of screwfix degreaser but found some gunk on the shelf so thought I'd try that... What a load of shite! There was obviously a reason it was at the back of the shelf!Anyway, I finished up the last bit of the screwfix stuff and I'm not even half way through. I reckon I'll get a couple of bottles in the top box though. Quote

rennie Posted March 27, 2020 Author Posted March 27, 2020 Well this thread is pretty much redundant at the moment! We're looking at setting the karaoke up in the dining room, getting dressed and having some sort of virtualkaraoke night with Sue's Sister and Brother in law in Norfolk. They don't use facebook so it'll have to be skype or something.Any excuse for cider and singing will do for me! James in Brum Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 I think likely will be house tasks and allotment tasks. I need to bring the rotavator home and try to diagnose and mend the problem with it too. Other than that kids etc. Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 (edited) I shall be sending parents who are home schooling paperwork relating to creating an impossible budget, 98 page leaflet on health and safety requirements, even larger leaflet on monitoring progress, keeping records and tackling challenging behaviour. Then there will be a series of attainment tests, complaints from other parents about lack of information which is readily available via the website, reduction in the aforementioned budget which is already in deficit, self analysis on key skills, documents relating to governance which make sure nobody will volunteer to do it. They will be required over the weekend to undertake a 3 hour online training exercise in Safeguarding which will time out after 2 hours 58 minutes but must be completed. Supporting information to enable them to undertake this training will be available from the Monday after the weekend. They will be required to attend a teacher's evening when their child's progress will be monitored and published in a local league table. We shall arrange an OFSTED inspection at home within the next week. Edited March 27, 2020 by Mississippi Bullfrog Quote
