I was going to do a bit of fencing, the wooden kind not the pointy steel kind.

Went to see local wood man as when I called they had a message saying temporary closure in place.

Now he is getting on a bit but he's the sort that ignores everything and anything in the way of advice so I was a bit concerned, even his mobile had a divert.

Turned up, no need to worry he's flying round his yard in a new telehandler, comes over in shiny machine says hi from a distance, apologies for turning phones off and explains they had 172 outstanding orders from Monday and they were piling up so fast he can't deliver the stuff quick enough, so he's had to close up till they can work out what they will have left..

Oiled and cleaned the rowing machine and im going to row my fat ass into some kind of shape resembling a PT before going back to work...i currently look like this...

 

I need someone to come round and slap the cake out of my hand.

I have just fetched my black fz6 round home so will be giving that a polish just to keep me fit.

Got to deliver some stuff to the hospital for my wife. Quite like the almost daily requests as it gives me an excuse to get out on the bike even if it's not for far or for long. Weather is glorious so came back the slightly longer way via Painswick. About 3 miles more so not exactly ott.

What I noticed in Gloucester was a lot more people about. I think the lockdown is starting to creak a bit. Also noticed people ignoring the 2m space requirements.

Not yet, it only has an 18" bar but i might order a longer one so i can still adhere to the social distance guidelines can you get 2m bars ?

Generally 1.2m is max ... For most high powered saws

However it is possible to get a two man saw ..

Hopefully fitting a new engine to my rotavator, taking the fairings off the bike and cleaning so I can work out where the oil leak is from, allotment stuff.

I had 2 already but it needed another at the front as when car is in the front is going to house the bike and a small woodworking bench.

I got the first 2 from cef for 20quid each, the one I just got from screwfix is exactly the same but 35

Could have probably located cheaper but I'm impatient lol, they are completely sealed so no worries about any water ingress.
