TC1474
I have hit the 1 year anniversary of when I quit smokingTo say I am quietly proud and slightly chuffed with this achievement is an understatement. Here is to the next 12 months as an ex smoker.

Guest
That is excellent. Last year I had to visit my new GP who asked if I smoked? No. Had I ever smoked? Yes. When did you give up? 40 years and 1 month ago. She grinned. It will always be an achievement that you can be proud of.
Wynne G Oldman
Well done Tony. I went from a lifelong 30 a day habit to e-cigs about 3 years ago. I'm happy using those, much better off financially and health wise.

Guest
Its definitely an achievement. When I stopped.. I wanted to see a 'tangible' result. so I worked out exactly how much I was spending per day.. multiplied that by 30. set up a savings account and a standing order for this amount. So.. every penny that would have gone up in smoke is currently sitting in a savings account. Its more than a little mindboggling how quickly its gone up.and thats todays 'understatement of the week'.
